This game is sooo much fun with friends. My friends were over some evening, and I thought, lets go play N64. Got a new controller anyway. Micro machines is HILAARIOUS with friends if you're just not taking it too seriously. :D
Still, that's my point, things didn't look as good when the N64 tried to port them, as they did on the other 5th generation consoles, because the N64 was less powerful.
N64's highlight was when it did it's own original games, not that of other consoles.
@Jiemusu89 The N64 was more powerful, it was just limited by the cartridge space, so textures were lower res, FMVs weren't ported, and games were shortened. Though a lot of times it does seem the PS1 can do better jobs at morphing polygons and models than the 64 (At the cost of bad texture alignment at all times), while the 64 can just generate more of them.
It is Micro machines V3, they just changed the names for some legal reason (my guess is that sony owned the V3 bit, so nintendo came up with 64 turbo)
I played Micro machines on Gameboy Color. Amazing. Spent so much time playing it.

Look at the polygons for the character models before the race, far less detailed and more primitive than it was on the Playstation.
