This for me is so much more better, Takashi Miike at the helm, Shinya Tsukamoto as Jiji, Tadanobu Asano playing an ultra stylish Kakihara, I mean they could have just gone with the look Kakihara already had in the Manga but they went for something different and I dare to say better look. Add the beautiful Alien Sun and a banging soundtrack by The Boredoms. Definitely a top film of mine and my "#1" Takashi Miike film
