Folks this is why Match Game of all versions including the Syndicated was rated the number 1 gameshow in daytime televison ,and still is one of the funniest and the best . I always enjoyed Gene's famous entrance into the studio audience .

It used to be when "Match Game '76" was aired late last year on GSN, but I guess the poster took it down. The thing that made that one hilarious was that Gene kicked through the bottom of the door, and then broke through the rest. Brett made the comment, "He broke our little house down!", and Charles made one of his famous 'newspaper article' readings about a game show host going mad on the set. It was the only week that Donna Mills (Abby from "Knots Landing) was a panelist.
