Dass der Techart Porsche Cayenne Turbo Magnum mit 680 !!! PS gerade mal die Fahrleistungen der "Basis" Corvette C6 mit 437 PS erreicht (für weniger als die Hälfte des Cayenne Preises), zeigt einfach wie unglaublich lächerlich diese Karren sind. Ist eben 'ne reine Ego Prothese ...

Der Versuch beim Cayenne einen SUV mit einem Hochleistungssportwagen zu paaren, scheitert einfach. Die Fahrleistungen sind - gemessen an der PS Zahl !! - beschissen. Die Fahreigenschaften aufgrund des hohen Fahrzeugschwerpunkts und Gewichts einfach bescheiden. Ergo -> Ego Krücke - Sinn macht das keinen.

Man kann nicht Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen. Und außerdem - findest du eine corvette, die auf schnee-bedeckter Fahrbahn ihre Power ausleben kann!?!

I have tried this. I have the Cayenne turbo s. raced a cherokee srt8. he didnät have a chance. I reached 125 mph long before him. and if you check the specs, they say the Cayenne is faster in every way. for example the Cayene does 0-125 mph in 16.4 seconds and the SRT8 in 21 seconds big difference

In order to barly beat the cayenne at the stop light jeep had to strip off all pretense to off pavement driving; very unjeep like. Cayenne still is faster, handles better, sounds better (Bose), can haul more (7700 vs 4400), rally, go off road with locking center and rear differential and the anti-sway bar can be disengaged (optional), way better on ice (4motion). I got my '04 turbo for about $15k less than a new SRT8 and could still sell it for what I bought it for. All around a better value.

land rover made its name building real off road machines for a purpose. im not picky. i just fail to see any point of these oversized psuedo sports cars. and you do get sick of towing them out of the mud when they do try and go offroad. im certainly not jealous. id buy a series 3 land rover if i felt the need to sit high up. or an international scout. at least they serve their intended purpose. what are you gonna use the supercharger for? traffic light g.p?

In order to barly beat the cayenne at the stop light jeep had to strip off all pretense to off pavement driving; very unjeep like. Cayenne still is faster, handles better, sounds better (Bose), can haul more (7700 vs 4400), rally, go off road with locking center and rear differential and the anti-sway bar can be disengaged (optional), way better on ice (4motion). I got my '04 turbo for about $15k less than a new SRT8 and could still sell it for what I bought it for. All around a better value.
