That IS the correct salute. The Wehrmacht was compelled to use the "Nazi" salute only after 20 July, 1944. Reenactments are silly, but that's a fabulous car.

Its a staff car for sure, but not the one Hitler rode in. You can easily tell by the fenders and bumpers it wasn't the one Hitler rose in. I also doubt a supercharger was in this version as well. Interesting n cool video!
