Mega Man zero and megaman battle network is from the same consol so they have a similar look. zero is in his defective body so he is not as powerful as he should be. and Mega Man battle network does not have his battle chips or anything so its an uneven match. they are both boss either way

Personally, Zero is my favorite megaman character, but, Rockman.EXE is my 2nd favorite, and honestly, I don't know who would win, because in terms of speed and agility, the two are actually very similar, due to body build and such, but EXE has a major majority of different moves he can pull, but Zero's cyber elves could prove to be an annoyance :P

@MegamanX20100 Dude, I love the BN series, but I absolutly hate Starforce. The story is stupid, the Megaman looks stupid, and the battle system sucks balls. Battle Network was certainly the superior series, as up to 3, and then 6, the stories were great, and actually brought some interesting new things to the universe, even though it was in a different dimension as the main storyline. Plus, Battle Network 3 White was the very first Megaman game I ever played, and will always be my favorite.

Also the reason I said it was similar was because they both have the same enemy fighting style. I was just thinking of a game recommendation closest to the Battle Network style. What other game can you think of that has anything close to the game properties of BN? So I recommended that game. You don't have to jump on me like that just cause I say something about SF.

Technically, you can. MegaMan Network Transmission featured both Zero as a boss, and MegaMan.EXE as the main character :p

Though, if you go by canon story, It would follow that Zero was defeated by MegaMan.EXE :p

Sooo... who knows? I do happen to like Zero better as a character, but really, it's all up to Capcom, and they stopped caring after MegaMan X8 bombed.
