Btw guys don't . and i mean DON'T play this on offical server, private servers are a little bit better but the game is just unbalanced, on the offical server there are hackers EVERYWHERE! + hundreds of bots, people get hacked/blocked for no reason, also on pservers everything is corrupted, i recommend a different game.

I do not know why people always complain about the grinding, get real, to level you have train, and I know there are games out there that have this cute story, graphics, races, a "friendly" community (you know what games I am talking about) and an allegedly un-existent grinding but it is all a charade, it is the same crap but with anesthesia, MMORPGs are like that, accept it or buy yourself an Xbox and enjoy your life.
Good times, too bad it was a click to move game with horrible PvP and massive grindmode with a gay playerbase not speaking English most of the time. Also AoE mages have HUGE advantages in this game (party and money-wise)and Thief DPS gets raped by Archer DPS by a lot. Graphics-wise this game is brilliant, it was quite a bit ahead of it's time back then in MMO world.

in the kalonline directory, there's a file called system.ini Edit it with wordPad add MODE_WINDOW=1 that makes you having the the resolution you have on your desktop

@Hookis69 no its 32bit and the reason it wasent working is because nortons was not alowing a crucial file for kal online to play so i stoped it and now it works :)
not really you can do all sorts of stuff its only borring during the intro levels of 1-20, after that you can go into dungeons, get quest scrolls for cash and exp and some gifts, you do quest, its an average mmo with lots of cool stuff, you can fish and get free HP/MP pots, when you get higher you can get into real dungeons and get talismans (enhancements for gear) level your Animal, asemble Seige weapons for guild wars, 3 happy hours everyday, giving either, EXP,3xDrop, 3xcash thats not borring
and this golden-dragon UI was released 2006, close to the UI release they did have påroblem with MANY bugs you can howere change back and you get rid of them
this game has transform "buffs" making you either a : Bird,Panther,Tiger,Eagle
adding different stats and skills, i repeat its from 1998, making this 12 years old
@CVXC4 last bit of info you get 5 stat points each level adding a very versitale gameplay where you can build your own character as you wish only thing weapons/armor needs is the right level, the first level Tier is 30 if you use the strongest newbee armor youl easy level and get cash a lot faster
theres also a teacher system if you get a teacher you get rewords at level
1-15-20-30
1= T1 armor and T2 weapon
15= 25K Student ´n Teacher 50K, Quest for transform
u should check out the war for the castle on saturdays... im not a expert on MMOs , but a massive PVP battle with about 400 ppl at same time u wont find in every game around. Take Dungeons and Dragons Online for example, the graphics are awsome, but if u want a war for something... dream on, it just doesnt have it.

This is a great game when u get into it. I have played WoW for 6 years and i played this game for a couple years as well. Its really dull low level but its an amazing end game game. This game also has a teacher system where u can appoint someone your teacher and get free items, someone like me used to buy people g40 armor which was pocket change for me but really expensive for a lvl 1, but the armor was equivalent to lvl 40, so they 1 shot every mob till like lvl 20 or so.
Beta was released in 1999; official Korean release 2000 and 2001 for American/EU, so much older than WoW actually. Once you get into this game it's gotta be one of the most addicting... Though limited gameplay, it starts getting good at a certain point.

@CVXC4 No level Cap, stuff gets added alteast 3 times a weeks like:
Events, new armors/weapons, new mobs, new dungeons
theres always something new ever week, some are more fun then others but one thing you never have in kalonline is Borring
i dont play kal anymore its just that i wanted something new after 10 years of kal HAHA
now im playing "War of Angels" and Battle Of Immortals" and they arnt half as fun tho i may add

1 get a Fake pet adding 2xExp, it gets exp and you get stat improvments
2 lottery coins giving you chance to pick a number 1-9 where 3 contains Cash for a whole Gear for your level
3 hapy hour as i mentioned below
4 3xDrops can come randomly during the day lasting 30 mins each time
increase involves rare items and Talismans
there are about 30 more and the come back alot

This is a great game when u get into it. I have played WoW for 6 years and i played this game for a couple years as well. Its really dull low level but its an amazing end game game. This game also has a teacher system where u can appoint someone your teacher and get free items, someone like me used to buy people g40 armor which was pocket change for me but really expensive for a lvl 1, but the armor was equivalent to lvl 40, so they 1 shot every mob till like lvl 20 or so.

Beta was released in 1999; official Korean release 2000 and 2001 for American/EU, so much older than WoW actually. Once you get into this game it's gotta be one of the most addicting... Though limited gameplay, it starts getting good at a certain point.
