I want to get this album, but for me, it's sort of pending on the outcome of the allegations. I feel like a weakling, but I couldn't follow or condone the themes in these songs if they were being projected by a person reported to have done etc. That said, the music here is just incredible! By far the most cerebral offering from wrest yet.

@Vine666 i think you'd have to separate yourself from 90% of the black metal bands out there then since a lot of them have done far worse than what wrest is being accused of. not saying it's right if it's true but don't miss out on a killer record because your taking high moral ground on someone you don't actually know. i missed out on a lot of good albums in the past for this exact same reason. don't let good music slip away!

@DeathMetalRob : That is really good advice. Although in regards to the ratio/percentage of bm bands that have actually commited crimes I think it's more like 0.02%. This sort of music can still be sincerely dark and beautiful and made by good people and the majority of times - it is.

This is a good progression for leviathan and wrest, it uses the same fundamentals he has used on all his albums but with new time signatures and transitions. Wrest is a Genious in a non over used sense of the word and he has done wonders for the stagnant USBM that was trodding along before him and weakling and the others that have finally built a relevancy and identity to USBM

I listen to a f**k load of bm but Leviathan is someone who I really respect! He can channel so much energy into his music. Just listen to TTSLOS or Tentacles of Whorror, true expression! I don't think this release will top those two albums but who am I to judge ey?! Still, "The forth blind wound" is one of my fave tracks, I own most of the rest. You just can't knock the emotion on that track, with the drum end piece..fucking genius! That and "A Bouquet of Blood For Skull" Too sick!!
