The drummer is not playing the original drumming - he's just playing over the backing track which Liam plays, but the drummers mic is quiet so it isn't loud enough to be really distinguished. As for the guitarist, he is also playing, but it is also put at a fairly low volume as to not distract from the backing track. You're right, most of it is the backing track, but the instruments aren't being mimed; same with Liam, he plays keyboards over a backing track.

Some people might like to have the 2 guys shouting at the crowd and getting them hyped - they do vocals on some tracks e.g. Firestater, Breathe, Take Me To The Hospital. The musicians just add a bit of intensity and volume to proceedings, and in doing so, make it more of a 'live' show.

being a big Prodigy fan, does anyone know how much of the music is played `live`? like it just sounds to me Liam just plays the studio track with mayby a couple of extra beats put in for the live arena and obviously the live drummer and guitars.

@69crafty Yeah its really just the album music with a bit of guitar and screaming. Unless the drummer is a fucking perfectionist, I don't see how the drums are being played live, although you can hear at the quiet parts he has some cymbals added in occasionally. It's strange.
