Dudes all of you are fighting commenting, let's have a brief look. 1) the roots of the problems r "Arabs" once my friend's dad said "if Arabs were wise they wouldn't have received 120,000 prophets". 2) we Afghans need to realize our benefits and work towards them. The money we'ave received is gone into pockets of Afghan politicians no one else. 3) If we Afghans don't build our country NO ONE CAN and NO ONE Should. Dont blame others nothing will be gained. God Bless you, and I hope it works out better than you make it out to be. No doubt there's corruption involved and waste also. We have though seen improvement and building, though not to the degree neccessary. This troop surge should weaken Taliban influence and that can only help. NGOs and UN/NATO projects are only a start. As you said, the Afghans themselves have a lot of work ahead. America can, is, and will help. As wrecked as Germany was in 1945, look how qiuckly (West) Germany rebuilt.

BTW, how much of the $2 trillion that Obama has spent went to poor Americans? Where's Americas bailout? It's going to take time to fix Afghanistan, they will be better off sooner than we will. Just pray for the Taliban's defeat. The sooner that happens, the sooner Afghanistan recovers.

Obviously, you aren't much of a reader either. Exactly who do you think has been working to rebuild Afghanistan these last seven years? Were you about to tell me about how much money and work the Arab League, or OIC has put into Afghanistan...what ummat Islamiyah have contributed to the reconstruction(almost nothing)? It's America and Nato who are doing the paying and working to rebuild. Dar al Islam is providing fresh Talibans to the struggle... Afghanistan says "Thanks for nothing!"

Afghan was destroy before we dropped the 1st bomb from 30 years of war. The Taliban was the stake in Afghan's heart. We are trying to build them up, answer: who else ever has?
