Why do people associate the Cosworth name with other cars? There is only 3 road cars that it should only be associated with and thay aren't jap cars!!

Ford RS Cosworth all the way.... The good old YB still puts these newer engines to shame in the BHP/Torque department ;)

And the yb cosworth maby a great engine back in the day but time has moved on and the subaru and evo engines are the new kings of the scene

An engine released in the mid 80's that is still known to this day to produce 1200+BHP in some places and yet it's not king of the scene?

The Impreza's Boxer block melts all the time and the Evo's block couldn't produce torque to save it's life. You jap guys can have you newer engines that produce 600-700BHP and no torque, I'll stick to a good old YB running 500Bhp and over 600Ft/lb any day of the week.

My response was to keep skating to begin with.

Not all 240sx are 18 years old and/or beat up and who said I was talking about them to begin with it could be in a g20 which came stateside up untill 2002

Besides if you knew what your were talking about the sr20vet is still in production 280hp in stock for and its not in any special edition sports car its in the Nissan Xtrail

and the whole idea is the sr20 puts way way more than 560whp at the limit ppl have got it past 800hp

Theres ppl that make a shit ton of money still rockin 240sx besides if your driving a subaru to show how much money you got your prob doing that to compensate for something else...

I drive/build what I like plain and simple if I had the money a 240sx wouldn't be my dream car but if the only thing I could move upto would be a subaru or a evo then fuck that I'd just build it. EVO is a problem prone shit box and the subaru isn't exactly the most reliable thing either.

Ugly, but it has a purpose. Its for drag racing, so it is meant to give down force to the back wheels for more traction and to help keep the car steady on a straight line.
