  • We don't have to disprove something unless it is actually proven in the first place. I swear people get dumber and dumber every day.

  • Ok I got your point you made about 3mins into the video you didn't have to dwell on it for a further three saying the same thing in different ways...just saying..

  • making something up and asking to disprove it is childish and stupid.....if you believe in the god of the bible it is easy, the book is filled with stupidity therefore a "god" who made "wrote" the bible clearly did not create the vast expanse of the universe in which we evolved.

  • (pt2) And how does one do this? Simple- Be simply acknowledging the fact that there is no "conclusive" evidence that supports the existence of this entity in the first place. Despite what this poster states, there is no more burden of proof on the atheist here to "disprove" god, than there is on you (the poster, but anyone who is sane, really) to disprove that there is no space-unicorns when I assert they are all around us.

  • As god is by definition a supernatural entity, asking for any conclusive piece of evidence that disproves the existence of said entity, is in its own rights, also a strawman. No one can disprove with 100% certainty- there there is no god. They CAN strongly support the idea that it is very, VERY likely, that there is no god (As likely as it is that gravity is holding you to this planet, and not invisible pink interdimensional elephants). (pt1)

  • I think Epicurus did a pretty good job on stating logical fallacies that christian monotheism poses :)

  • I will convert to theism if you say "Oh Hai Mark." in your next video.

  • The burden of proof is on those who make a claim (that there is something, anything, a god...) - not the other way round. Disproving something is impossible. Try disproving the FSM, good luck with that ;)

  • Oh, and I know it's years too late, but I DO have evidence for you that God doesn't exist. I'll just list ten of these proofs for you that there is no PERFECT being who CREATED humanity "in it's own image." You ready? 1. Rabies, 2. Asthma 3. Type 2 Diabetes 4. Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease 5. Influenza 6. Lupus Erythematosus 7. Polio 8. Ebola 9. AIDS 10. Cancer.

In case you didn't get it by now, these are all DEADLY DISEASES WITH NO KNOWN CURE. Proof that no Perfect Being made us in his image.

  • I know this is old, but come on. I watched the healthy addict video, and she was accurate. Not only accurate, but made a very good point that you completely ignored. There is nothing to test, no evidence, nothing to FALSIFY concerning the existence of God. For you to expect evidence for this is ludicrous. I don't know any atheists who ever say GOD DOESN'T EXIST unless they are just irritated with theistic claims. Most Atheists simply say "I don't believe God exists".

  • Sorry, if one claims the existence of something then they have the burden of proof.

YOU must prove your God exists. We don't have to prove anything, we just sit back and listen to your pathetic excuses of a non-existing deity.

  • also, do you truly believe that every dog type i.e. great Danes and chihuahuas came from two dogs on Noah's ark. my other point is below this comment.

  • explain this to me christian - in the bible it says that god creates rain, earthquakes and told christians that the earth was flat . We now know about tectonic movement, how rain is formed and that the earth is spherical. Funny how God's knowledge and perception of earth is limited to the people who wrote the bible... have I helped to disprove God, or are you still trying to work out what the fuck I just said?

  • @oyasumitenshi How do you know its a Parrot? It could be just a little guy telling you that he is a parrot. Or it could be Gawd tricking you into not believing in him and instead believing in a little guy who tells you hes a parrot?

  • If you make an extraordinary claim it's up for you to provide the evidence, not us to provide the contrary evidence. If everybody went on your stupid logic then I could convince anyone of anything my imagination leads me to. For example, I could say that I have an invisible parrot on my shoulder; seeing as you cannot DISPROVE it, it must exist using your logic.

  • No we don't have to prove anything. That is because we believe in Science and not god. Science has been proven to be true because it builds itself on experiments which can be tested by others to confirm that its true.

On the other hand you believe in a super natural being. Therefore you have to prove the existence of god. Just like when I write a paper for my physics class, I have to Prove my thesis through experiments.

  • I believe that you are a giraffe. You must now disprove that you are a giraffe. The burden of proof is 100% on you.

  • I'm not sure what god your talking about (since there are thousands of interpretations) but if it's the biblical god I can do that in one point. You are right, it's not hard.

Genesis tells us life became before light. Cosmology tells us a star ended fusing helium and hydrogen together to create the heavier elements like oxygen which mixed with the hydrogen in our atmosphere creating water which is the precursor of carbon life. One has to be wrong and there is a lot of evidence in one direction.

  • There's no point arguing with you. I will never be able to disprove God. You can't prove to me he's real either. "We don't have to disprove God" is seen as a trick to you? That doesn't even make sense.

If a judge believes a man didn't commit murder, he should not be required to go out and get proof of the man's innocence. So here's my conclusive argument: You can't prove there is a God.

I suspect you'll find my answer "disappointing."

  • All you heathens will be first against the wall when Ron Paul becomes president.

  • all statements concerning God are based completely on conjecture.

  • How can you make a 7min long video saying the same thing over and over again? You sir are a moron. and just because you annunciate your words does not make you intelligent.

  • you can't disprove something that doesn't exist.

  • i can't prove if god exist or not exist neither can you or anyone

until the end come and i'm burning in hell (or not existing based on faith) while Christians are in heaven or in a void of darkness

personalty i think that if a god doesn't exist we would make one

in my opinion no can suppress no ones beliefs if someone wants to set up a Christianity display

that's ok if someone wants to set up a display with Jesus burn go ahead but dont complain about another beliefs

  • prove that god excists u moron first because there is scientific proof against god but absolutely no scientific proof against atheism

  • You are hilarious...

The healthy addict gave a perfectly valid reason for WHY she did not have to prove the nonexistence of god.

  • @Xx3Zzz ~ There are "Gnostic Atheists" and "Agnostic Atheists" (these are atheist terms). If a Gnostic (KNOWING) Atheist asserts that there is no God and that he/she know this, why the f*** is he/she not sharing this so-called knowledge?

    EXPLAIN!

  • @PangoliaDogg15

    Fool.

There is no such thing as proof or disproof of god. Missionary atheists are just as idiotic as any religious missionaire.

    I never claimed otherwise.

  • @Xx3Zzz ~ Okay, we didn't really need to argue, this is just YouTube. I'm not a fool, but I had been drinking. I think I got the "fool" response for saying "EXPLAIN!" (in capital letters, which is a little offensive, I admit. My apologies.). I can't even remember why I did that now.

I can't find you original Comment that I Replied to, so I can say no more.

I've never come across a Missionary Atheist, but enough Missionary Theists. From my experience Missionaries are a little silly.

  • @PangoliaDogg15 ~ Also, a sense of humour (when we're not pissed off) does wonders between people who believe contrasting things. Laters!

  • Why do you call yourself a theist, when you can't prove there is a god?

  • @Xx3Zzz ~ The problem with God (or any of the popular gods/Gods) is that they can neither be proven nor disproven. It's all personal belief (or social belief).

The Bible (whether lies or truth) states that GOD HIDES HIMSELF ON PURPOSE. NO ONE CAN PROVE A THING: only philosophise.

  • Question: If when we go to heaven we will have perfect life, no sins or blemishes right? So men will no longer lust for other women? We will no longer wish to learn and discover? Hurt others, covet their belongings even for the tiniest second. Instead we will WANT to praise god forever? Now, how will that be accomplished without taking away our free will and making us into drones. So really why doesn't god do that now and end all suffering since free will is used as excuse for our immorality!

  • @Catpanl ~ You misunderstand. Free will was never free, and Free Will is contradicted by the Bible. It is a Philosophy that infiltrated Christianity. Both science and the Bible say that our minds follow deterministic laws (but from different belief systems).

Many, if not most, Christians contradict their own Bible, and even betray their own god.

  • The ones saying there's no god need to show proof to why there's no god; the ones disbelieving in a god don't need to show proof.

  • @Rookerfy ~ UNLESS YOU PREACH THERE IS NO GOD, He Is Saying.

The burden of proof is not only on religion, but on ANY philosophy that makes statements about what is real and what is not. Good logic?

  • @Rookerfy haha no. The ones saying there IS a God are the ones who need to present the evidence to that claim if they want it to be considered. For example if I were to tell you I could fly and you said "prove it"; would you consider my proof to be, "no, you disprove it!"? lol

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". If you're unsure of what just happened here, then remember this-- "that which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence".

  • @JamesKravenwolf Rationally, if a religious person said that God exist then that religious person needs to provide evidence to show that God exist; likewise, if a non-religious person said that God doesn't exist then that non-religious person needs to provide evidence to show why God doesn't exist.

  • If you really want me to believe that 'Jesus' could resurrect from the dead, be born of a virgin and cure diseases and illnesses that cannot be cured 2000 years later (which is all biologically impossible), then you sir, are an idiot.

  • @Gonicksomestuff ~ THE ANSWER IS MAGIC. Some believe, some don't. Neither groups are idiots.

  • @PangoliaDogg15 I don't see any of your so called 'magic' showing itself today.

  • See, Atheists keep a logical mind. They just dont choose not believe to expose your insecurities in your own faith (as if obvious from your countless video rants; if you WERE firm with your own beliefs you wouldnt relentlessly try to defend them from other views).

Science does have a working theory of a creator of the universe outside of our own (String Theory). So you see it isn't science's or an Atheist's goal to disprove your beliefs at all. We simply demand evidence for such tall theories.

  • @JamesKravenwolf ~ If this man is ranting then so are you. According to you, "ranting" is all about being pathetic and insecure. HAHAHAHA!

  • @PangoliaDogg15 actually, there's an obvious difference any idiot could see. Do you see countless videos on my channel calling out Christians or other faiths? No? He wanted a reply from Atheists specifically, and I gave him one.

Much like the insecure fat girl in high school asking everyone "does this dress make me look fat" expecting the obvious "no"; we're here to tell him, "he looks fine". (And if you're too stupid to read between the lines, I'm not dumbing it down for you).

  • It isn't an Atheist's goal to disprove the existance of your God as you seem to believe. They simply do not see enough evidence to consider the idea of your Christian God (or any) varifiable fact. The same way you most likely disbelieve in the Tooth Fairy or Santa.

Atheists are always open to new discovery. If your God were to ever come to Earth one of these days and prove himself, then an Atheist would keep an open mind. Until then, he's somewhere with the Easter Bunny and the Boogieman.

  • @JamesKravenwolf ~ I'm religious, but your comment makes perfect psychological sense to me. If God does not prove Himself, then no one can, and it is therefore quite correct for anyone to see Him as a work of fiction.

  • @PangoliaDogg15 Not sure what to make of your comments, as you seem to enjoy leaving an blatent insult, and then an passive agreement. So, I'll return the favor. Number one, you're a jackass not worth anymore of my time. And number two, thank you, I know my comment is logical and makes perfect sense. And it means a lot to me a complete stranger I care nothing about is in agreement with that (lulz).

  • Are you going to stop referring to yourself a theist since you can't prove your god is real?

  • @1979benmitchell ~ NO. :D

  • Look up straw man argument amigo - you're misunderstanding its meaning. The simplest answer is often the right one. Consider that the Existence of God would be anything but simple - he can't be the answer to any question :)

  • @1979benmitchell ~ That is already in the Bible, you just used a Biblical Concept to disprove the Bible. HAHAHA!

  • When someone says the Earth is not the center of the solar system, you would say prove it. That's because when you say something exists, the burden of proof to falls to the person that says something exist. I don't say well there is a panda in the sky that created the universe and it should be taken as fact until someone proves me otherwise. I would have to come up with proof before it was fact. So since you say something, God, exists, you have to prove to me he exists which you can't. Rebuttal?

  • I can't belive I'm doing this; you will find few, if any, atheist who say that there definetly is no god, we just don't find it likely, allso that the world (as explained through science) works without it.

In danger of leaning on a loved Dawkins-argument here, you to are probaly non-theist to most gods mankind have belived in, and nobody will ask you to come with a conclusive argument against each one of them. That is why we can say that the burden of proof is on you, as a THEIST not a DEIST.

  • i think its funny because "god" answers prayers with yes, no, or maybe this means that any prayer will be answered and tithings will continue to be payed..."all your prayers will be answered" is the same as all your dreams will be answered if you ask for rain eventually it will come.

  • Heres a little argument I give whenever someone who believes in God demands me to disprove it.

If I say I can fly when no ones looking, are you going to believe me? No. It's illogical. I, the one making the stupid statement, should be the one to prove it.

  • i don't believe in a god but proof of god is like proof of faith

god = life in most religions

just becuase can't show how there is no god

I am contenueing my research to show that all religions are false or lies

so we can look at the little evidence

all creators need two or more to reproduce

no dead bodies of other gods

no god weapon or god artifact

  • Most YT atheists are what you would call "agnostic atheists." This means we lack a belief in god because there is simply no evidence that would suggest that anything supernatural exists. BUT if we were actually shown evidence that would conclusively show the existence of the supernatural, then we would accept it. We will reject theistic claims until they can be proven. We do *not know* that there is no god, but we *know* that we have not seen convincing evidence to suggest that there is.

  • Disproving that which does not exist, hmmmmm

  • ♥ ♫

  • There is no evidence of any deity in our observable universe. So why should anyone accept that a god exists? For example, prove conclusively that unicorns a satyrs don't exist. Where is your evidence?

It's the same as your argument. Do you believe in satyrs and unicorns?

And finally, literally, the word atheist is literally defined as someone who has no belief in a deity. That is not a proclamation that no deities exist. Just that there has been no revelation of such a being's existence.

  • I say that there is an invisible chilli con carne that created the universe and is currently orbiting the earth. Give me one 'conclusive argument' against it. Disprove the invisible chilli con carne. This is how ridiculous and ill-informed your argument is, sir.

  • As I said in the first post, you can't push the responsibility of proof to someone else if you're the one that came up with the theory. If that's the case, we wouldn't need any evidence for any theory or assumptions, because all one has to do is come up with a theory and make someone else prove otherwise; if they can't then the theory is true.

Here's my challenge for you: My theory is that you are an imbecile, prove that you're not.

  • If you're talking about disproving God via the scientific method, then the null hypothesis would be that God does not exist and you would find facts that would prove or disprove that. However, since creationist came up with the theory of God, the responsibility falls on them to collect data and draw a conclusion. The truth is that their efforts have not gotten anywhere because no reliable evidence have been collected and no logical argument has been made.

  • This guy can't be as stupid as he pretends to be, can he?

  • I haven't got any proof he's real or not. I'm not disproving God, I'm just saying that until see him, I'm not converting. I think we should be free to believe what we want :)

  • Here is a response for you: Russell's teapot.

    Happy?

Black is the lack of light, does that mean it IS light? Faith is believing in something without evidence ( Merriam Webster dictionary ). Atheism is not believing in a God. One Atheist may have faith (in evolution theory for example) while others don't. Highly persona

(I have a feeling that you aren't especially educated, so you probably don't have an idea of what im talking about. Try looking Russell's teapot up on Wikipedia or something.)

  • I've argued this ad nauseum. You can't prove a negative.

  • Comment removed

  • how can you disprove something that doesnt exist ??

  • Atheists don't have to disprove god because of a very specific principle, Occam's Razor, which states that, given multiple arguments, the argument that requires the least amount of assumptions to explain would naturally be the answer assumed to be correct. You want us to disprove it? We need the evidence first.

  • So I guess you believe in fairies, leprechauns, and genies? If you don't believe in them, then you understand atheism.

  • Im an Atheist and i say that god dont exsites but there is a form of mass , animal or being that can suck out enagy from out bodys and tranforming it into another typ of enagy.some people might belive that this being is a god.Im am 14 and i come from mix pearnts my dad is a strong atheist and my mums pagen and im sorry about spelling please look at this and replay samizaatri

  • Atheism is not a claim. Atheism is the response to a claim-theists are the ones making the claim. In order for a rational person to believe something, you must provide them with proof. Think about it. If I say, "In front of me is a pink unicorn!" you might ask, "well, why can't I see it?" If my response was "you can't; it's invisible!" you might ask, "well, wouldn't it make noise? Why can't I hear it?" etc, etc. This is the position atheism takes.

    tl;dr you're doing it wrong.

  • get your fucking finger outa my face. The burden of proof is on the one making the outrageous claim, stupid.

  • cont2... when you get passed that way thinking then you will realise that science isn't deilvering theories, its actually providing logical explanations to the origins of the universe and the origins of all the species here on earth. which is more than any 2000 year old book written by multiple Authors and no proof of its legitimacy ever could... so my arguement isn't disproving god its merely stating the fact that God may not be a possible solution to the origins of the universe....

  • cont1... Evolution explains how intelligent design is merely the natural process of which things are designed(Made) if you want to use that word. things that worked well stuck around and are what we see today, the things that don't work well are ever Evolving to become better, the Sofa you sit on and the Curtains behind you are of intelligent design by humans, which is why Theists would assume that the world in all its beauty would be of intelligent design and made by a creator.....

  • its not that we cannot Disprove God, this is the whole misconception of it. Atheists use Logic and reasoning to deliver an explanation ast to why a God may not be possible. for example, Big Bang does not disprove god however it does explain how the story of Genesis would be inacurate...

  • I know im probably the 10,000th person to say this to you but, The BURDEN is not on people who dont believe!! You do not have to PROVE bigfoot is not real, you have to prove that he is.

Things do NOT exist until proven otherwise. That is a fundimental rule of reality. It CANNOT be in reverse order. There maybe things that obviously exist but we dont understand like dark matter, but atleast we can prove there is SOMETHING.

  • You show me a plate with nothing on it and tell me it's full. I tell you the same plate is empty.

    Now prove the negative :p.

  • any claim presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence

  • atheist doesnt mean that you think that there is no god

  • so how can i prove something that you believe in. I can say I believe in dragons and then I can ask you prove that dragons don't exist

  • I think you're taking this wrong. Their not providing an argument isn't saying you're right or that they're wrong. They have no argument because the argument you asked for is logically erroneous for them to answer. Contrary to what you think the burden of proof is actually on you. It's not a straw man or a Red Herring, it's just plain truth.

  • Now I know you don't know how to argue! Those atheists are right, they don't have to prove non existence of God. You as a believer, are making a claim that God exists. The burden of proof is on you, it's a classic argument. And saying they have to prove that God doesn't exist is a classic fallacy. I'm a believer, but I also believe in being right, and those people are right, they don't have to provide and argument and actually neither do you.

  • Belief is too subject to human ego to trust. But those who adopt that mode of thinking (I believe it so that makes it real) would argue that the universe is too complex to be the result of material forces interacting in nature. It must be the creation of a being. ok, but any being capable of that would itself have to be very complex. So who created the creator? If you say nobody, he always existed-why not save a step and conclude that the universe always existed. There's no need for a creator.

  • I acually agree with the video.

  • Most atheists don't believe god DOESN'T exist, they don't believe that there is enough proof that he definitely exists. For example, I have seen no proof of a theistic god therefore I'm not sure.

Your confusion stems from the definition of atheist, atheist means lack of belief in a god, most atheists are actually agnostic atheists, meaning they do not believe in god but there may be one.

A gnostic atheist believes that there definitely is NO god. This position is absurd!

  • no a lack of belief and a lack of belief that there is a god are two different things. and why should we prove something doesn't exist surely its up to you to give a solid argument as to its existence. oh and the bus thing was a campaign because a bus had an advertisement on it saying if you don't believe in god you will burn in hell for all eternity.

  • First of all, Atheists can't say there is no God. Atheist just means we don't believe there is God because of lack of evidence.

Secondly, you can't disprove God's existence. He (it) does not make its presence known in the physical world, so science can't study it.

By your logic, Superman exists because you can't prove that he doesn't exist. Can you bring me the evidence that there is no Superman? If you can't show me evidence that Superman is not real, then you must believe in Superman.

  • Nothing can be absolutely dis-proved.

I ask you to dis-prove anything!

-here are some ideas;Thor, santa claus,a macdonalds on mars,unicorns....

You said"if I don't have an argument,I stay quiet"-then why are you still talking?

  • Sir prove that God exist? oh you cant its the choice you make you either believe ore you dont its that simple, stop the bs about this, leave atheist alone and atheist leave christians alone, for ** sake im dating a christian girl, and i believe in for example evolution does that make me a atheist?? no it does not its the free will God gave to us to choise to believe what ever you want to believe. well i rest my case have a great day!

  • @NLterror6000 Except you'll go to hell for not believing. Anyway, does she put out?

  • @lolzarfoomeister Aucally i do believe there is a God, but i dont believe in creatism/Jesus etc it makes no sence at all to me, and me and my gf can talk like adults about God without arguing, and no she does no put out, she wants wait till marriage and i respect that.. btw the way who are you to judge me going to hell? aren't we all created equal oh and explain midgets.

  • @NLterror6000 I wasn't judging you Hellwise, I was pointing out that God does, and that it breaks the freedom-of-choice illusion. The whole Hell tale translates to a sort of "show me the money or I pull the trigger". While technically it offers a free choice, it's still an imposition of violence by the person holding the gun. It's a crime whether the gun is real or not.

As for your girlfriend, while it's nice to respect beliefs, they detract from her freedom of pleasure. I'd try to help her.

  • @NLterror6000 Oh, and midgets are small people. They are an observable phenomenon, and calling them midgets is an identification. An identified phenomenon exist as such whether you can explain it or not - as opposed to God, which is an esoteric concept where no phenomenon is observed and no identification is possible or indeed allowed.

For the boys and girls: pointing something out and saying "that's a midget" is what we call Reality. Saying "I cannot know but I believe" is called Fantasy.

  • God is false. There, it is written. QED

  • actually there is no such thing a agnostic this is a mistake. Gnostic just means "to know" and agnostic means "no to know". You can be and gnostic theist (to know that God exist) or you can be an agnostic theist (you don't know but you think so). Same thing with agnostic atheist (doesn't know but doesn't think so) and gnostic atheists (knows there is no God). Unlike a lot theist, most atheist will claim that they are agnostic atheists.

  • Disprove to me that leprachauns, santa and the pinky hippo don't exist!

  • @TioPhillippe unless you can disprove it you better have to believe it. That is the doctrine of the pinky hippo.

  • "[...] I ask you for an argument and you say you don't have to bring one... Does that make any sense?"

    Yes, yes, it does!

The negation of an existential quantification (and "There is/exists no god." is one) is an analogue proposition to a universal quantification of the negated bound variable, which demands disproof in order to be wrong. The statement that "There is no god." doesn't need any proof and it is up to you to disproof it if your opinion differs.

  • I GOT IT!!!! So basicly if you say disprove god.

    1. Athiest: Does god exist and can you prove it?

    2. Theist: Well no.

    3. Athiest: There i just disproved he doesn't exist.

opposite of proving something is disproving it obviously

cmon people God is just a word for something "unexplainable"

If i cant explain something i make up a word for "God"

    ITS SAD

Can you explain Miracle's? Nope. God must be the "explanation"

what im saying is dont use god as a word for something you cant explain

  • if you propose a theory, it is on you to prove the theory. in this case, prove god. if you cant, argument fails.

  • can you prove god... didn't think so.

  • When people ask my to disprove, I ask them to prove to me god is real without their little books, faith, and false miracles. There is no true evidence he exists. More often then not, I get people saying "I just know" when I ask they how they know he is real.

  • Why should we disprove god when you are making the claim?

If you say "I can fly to Canada and back in 30 seconds" and I say "Prove it", You would not say

"Well it's your job to prove that I CAN'T fly to Canada and back in 30 seconds."

How does that make any sense?

  • @sinnlosernutzername7

srry, at the end i mean:exist, thinking that you are the only one who is right, is arrogant.

  • How about you go to NASA and disprove science. Then go back home and shave all your dads pubic hair from your face.

  • Your question didn't even make sense, you obviously don't understand what Atheism is.

  • First off, I don't hate god because I don't believe he exists. But from the stories in the bib I do not hate religious people at all. I know there are extremists, and I don't judge all people of that faith by the actions of those individuals.

I do dislike religion though. Religion as a whole seems to support prejudice and hate, and discourages the persuit of scientific knowledge.

  • I dont want to insult you but it is not up to us Atheists to prove God doesnt exist, that would be proving a negative which is silly, since you first have to prove God which is impossible therefor we can say there is more proof to varify the non existance of God then there is the other way, atleast that is what my invisible (to everyone else) pet dragon told me just this morning, he lives under my bed

  • Christians are the reason why America is so fucked up

  • Define god

  • Atheism is the default, we are born athiest. we are taught to be religious. that is why there are so many different religions. which makes religion the affirmative (burden of proof) and athiests (burden of clash) this is the base rule of debate. you must provide the evidence in which we can refute. you have not provided any evidence in which we can refute.

  • prove that a bug made of jello and candy canes doesnt exist... exactly

  • unfortunately you're wrong, the burden of proof falls on those who makes the claims. atheist do not claim there is a god, theists do, even though there is no solid evidence for such claims, therefore the theists must prove the existence of god

  • What an idiot this guy is. Clearly incapable of any kind of logical thinking.

  • Comment removed

  • It's impossible to prove a negative

  • Christians must prove God exists.

  • Why should we? You're the one claiming the universe was created by and is being overseen by an invisible, undetectable, and omnipresent God. We merely claim that he doesn't exist because there is no evidence to support his existence. You theists have the burden of proof, we don't.

  • Prove there isn't an invisible pink elephant in the trunk of my car that created the universe and all life in it. If you look in my car you won't see, hear, or feel it, but I promise it is there. See doesn't that sound like every religion on this planet?

  • Atheists shift the burden of proof because they cant prove God doesn't exist.. I think they learn that in Atheist school

  • @ShaneyCunn84 You're an idiot. Allow me to supply an analogy from theamazingatheist:

I have an invisible unicorn. He goes with me wherever I go, but he can NOT be seen, heard, felt, or smelled.

Now here's my question: Can you prove that my invisible unicorn doesn't exist? Because, if not, then you concede that I do, in fact, possess a unicorn.

My unicorn story is an unfalsifiable hypothesis. So is god.

  • @DominatingNA No but i might spend most my life researching, historical books and documents, philosophy and science and come to the conclusion that the Unicorn is a big possibility, specially if there are millions of other poeple who claim to have seen/experienced the unicorn..

  • @ShaneyCunn84 Surveys have been done on which group, atheists or Christians, knows more about it.

Atheists had much more knowledge on the religion than Christians, the majority of whom couldn't even answer the most basic questions about their religion.

Besides, there is already an overwhelming amount of evidence that there is no god.

And claims from people don't mean anything at all. Just because I have a dream that I think is Jesus doesn't mean that Jesus has visited me. That's ridiculous.

  • @DominatingNA Evidence? Show me..

  • @ShaneyCunn84 Replace the [dot] with an actual period. Here's one article about it, but if you just google the topic, you'll find many, many more:

    theweek[dot]com/article/index/207591/religious-iq-why-do-atheists-outscore-christians

  • @ShaneyCunn84 You wouldnt find anything. Historically , you might find people talking about, even worshipping the unicorn. However,it cannot be seen, felt or heard or smelt therefore there is 0 scientific evidence and you would find that there is no possibility there is a unicorn. All you would have is millions of idiots clamouring about the unicorn even though they have no proof. Now replace "unicorn" with "god" and BAM! you have religion

  • @doubledutch6rudder "Unicorns"? Watching too much Atheist experience? Just watch the Video again, Atheism is madness..

  • @ShaneyCunn84 I fail to see how atheism can be conisdered madness in light of religion. Atheism means not believing in god. Thats it. no other beliefs associated with it. Religion tells stories of jesus walking on water, ressurecting, performing miracles and uses that as a reason to kill and suppress other religions. If you think atheism is madness there is no sense in arguing with you

  • This argument may not be conclusive or provide evidence that God does not exist. But the fact that the people praying for those children every day are of many different faiths, and none of their Gods are intervening to help provides empirical data that would lead one to conclude that prayer does not work, besides, if god doesn't care about little babies dying why would he care about your woes?

  • Let's apply some sam harris logic here. So it is said that about 20,000 children die every day of starvation, disease, what have you. That said, before i finish typing this sentence, a child will die a terrible death due to terrible living conditions (starvation disease etc.) Right now those childrends parents or loved ones are probably kneeling over their childs corpse right now praying desperately for their child to live... So what's God going to do about it? CONT.

  • ok i have less of an argument and more of a question. can you tell me where to find god at so i can just ask him if hes real?

  • @musicoutsidethebox your heart..

  • @ShaneyCunn84 my heart is full of blood, vessels and tissue. god cannot be found here.

Im serious, tell me where is your god at.

  • @musicoutsidethebox So tell me....where did you come from? Who made you?

  • @Mel130673 my body came from my mothers womb, but as far as i can remember i have always been here.

  • i dont believe there is a god because there is no evidence proving a god. However, I am interested in seeing why you think there is a god and I will follow up on my video.

  • In the likelihood that an all-powerful omniscient deity exists, the observation of such a phenomenon would likely produce a significant amount of objectively verifiable evidence to support its existence.Anectdotes provided by believers are subjective and not verifiable outside the person's experience, ergo not evidence.Given the qualities attributed to this god, and the high probability that such a being would produce an effect in the observable world- Absence of evidence is evidence of absence.

  • THE FACT THAT YOU CANNOT DISPROVE THE EXISTENCE OF GOD DOESN'T MAKE IT REAL. WE CANNOT DISPROVE THE EXISTENCE OF SUPERMAN IS, OR SPIDERMAN, OR THOR, OR ZEUS, OR POSEIDON AND THAT DOESN'T MAKE THEM REAL, DOES IT?

  • unfalsifiable hypothesis lol

  • I respect you for keeping your comments open. I find most theists to be cowardly in that regard. However, you should talk to more scientists. And not just the ones who think like you. Scientists have an agenda, it's called truth. Religious agenda is about protecting dogma. What does a scientist gain by proving a theory that controverts something religious? Nothing. It happens all the time. I'm sure you believe in gravity, A/C theory and a round Earth, but people fought those ideas years ago.

  • Coming from a Buddhist, Athiests simply believe in nothing...therefore the burden of proof does not fall on their shoulders..it falls on YOURS.

  • @DeadSleepers Exactly

  • My evidence against there being no God, or "proof" is that the majority of that mentioned in the books presented by the people who worship the God of their choice is proven false. Majority of religions use the same stories, same rules, same nonsense. To prove that an actual God doesn't exist is impossible. No argument made by anyone can prove that there is or isn't a God. If a God does exist... then he/she/it is a horrible being that has created a fucking mess of a universe. Happy now?

  • Why are Muslims allowed to threaten the lives of people when the people don't follow their views? Why are Christians are allowed to bombard people with their crap as well? Very few Atheists target Theists in that manner. Majority of Theists are hypocritical and cruel in general. They belittle people, children especially. The Atheists who are hardcore on hating on Theists, logically... they probably grew up with harassment by the people they are now harassing.

  • Well which God do you want me to disprove? All man-made Gods are easily disproved.

  • man you are so hopeless

  • Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.....Your claim of god existing has no action because it has no evidence, YOu even said yourself you have no evidence, So if there is no action how can you sit there and say that we have to give an oppisite reaction to something that has no action in the first....Your not even smart enough to be a good bigot....I am 15 and i sure know hell of a lot more that you! so good day to you sir and have a happy good Flying spaghetti monster damn life!!!

  • Lets say two people go to court a man and a woman....The woman claims the man had molested her son for whatever reason....She has no evidence she just has FAITH that he molested her son....Do you really think that the Judge will make anyone provide evidence to refute that claim, especially that claim having no evidence? case closed! Until the woman gives some evidence that the man molested her son the man has to give no evidence that he didnt molest her son..

  • Because it was not the non-believer's claim why should they go the extra to prove it isn't there, shouldnt it be up to the person telling you about the alien in the mom's brain???........You said that you have no evidence on why god exists, and saying god exists is your claim....Why should we have to provide evidence to why he doesnt exists if you can't even provide evidence on his existence....A claim without evidence can be refuted without evidence easily.......

  • Atheism is not a belief! If you dont believe in Evolution are you Aevolution, if you dont believe in unicorn are you Aunicorm, Avampiref?? Explain to me how not believing something is still a belief?? Well for the sake of arguement lets say i said my mom has an alien living in her brain. You tell me that she doesnt have an alien....Since i told you about the alien it is up to me to prove that the alien is there... it is not up to the non-believer to Disprove it because it wasn't there claim

  • no the burden of proof for an extraordinary claim lies with the person making the claim. As god has never been proven, the burden of proof lies with the believer. Belief is not proof. Religion is nuts. you look like crap. Shave...

  • @DaBluedude100 Atheism is madness, without God you don't exist.. All your coward leaders eg - Dawkins make a living on Atheism so God feeds your leaders..

  • @ShaneyCunn84 I'm pretty sure I exist. Your argument is invalid

  • @ShaneyCunn84 Rubbish. God did not will this universe into existence as there is no god. The onus is on you to prove his existence to validate your claim. Otherwise your just wasting everyones time. Like religion has done for thousands of years now. How is Dawkins a coward? Not that he is a 'leader' of atheism anyways. Ill assume your grasp of English is very low but I must point out that your comment is without foundation and is the equivalent of me shouting gibberish at a duck.

  • Theists must prove god.

You don't have to disprove most things unless you have ACTUAL EVIDENCE.

You can say something is there and there's no way to prove it, but it's there, that's a horrible question to ask.

  • Why are you making theis videos, I'am a muslim but sometimes I don't understand what are you saying, jump from one to another.

  • please give me one proof just one solid argument that pink unicorn with purple strips doesn't exist. my pink unicorn with purple strips has the same amount of creditability as islam.
