  • No one likes Irish accents....

  • @Wamm92 that is so not true.

  • I like to imagine that he filmed all these videos on separate days, but just wears that shirt all the time.

  • Man, that Irish accent sounds more the Newfoundland accent.

A unique accent, that Newfinese is!

  • everyone who is offended by this, calm down. you do realize he is doing a STAGE accent? the number 1 rule (mostly theater) is the audience is stupid in a sense that you have to be clear about certain small things because it can be hard to keep up with a play when a million different things are going on and with accents u typically have to b over the top so the audience is sure to know where the character is from It's not meant to make fun people from that area, just keep the audience up to speed

  • You do a really good impression of a dickhead....really pronounce the dick and the head....like a little bulbous pair of Limerick balls at the front of your mouth

  • Sheamus: Doblia Doblia E Champion fella!

  • Who is Niall?

  • @Edude117 The Niall I believe they are talking about He is from One Direction.

  • Because the Brits have such a good history with the Irish.

  • I actually sound almost nothing like that.

  • HAHAHA!! when he said little bubble at the front of the mouth i almost shit myself laughing, but by far my favourite line was: Our next feature is the letter AHHHHHH.

I have an Irish accent well i am irish, and it does not sound like this, some of his stuff it ok, but way overdone. By the way the Irish accent is the best one to be angry in.

  • Da is a country accent noh a Dublin accent

  • I have an irish lit teacher, and he sounds NOTHING like that. In fact, half of the time I cant understand him XD

  • "Haven't got time for more features today.." THANK CHRIST FOR THAT!!!

This is bullcrap, boy! I'm Irish born and bred & we sound nothing like this. It's actually quite insulting.

  • LOL - so funny.. i love these irish accent videos on here they so make me laugh. Listen up from someone who is irish...you cannot impersonate an irish accent unless of course you ARE irish. I rest my case :)

  • How do we know that this guy just doesn't fake his own accent haha

  • If I ever have a kid, we're moving to Ireland and I'm faking an accent until he learns english.

  • Niall Horan♥

  • Helpful...thanks :)

  • I was so here for Niall Horan:)

    <3 One Direction

  • dat was terrible

  • People say I sound like Niall Horan :O

  • is there a difference from irish and northern irish?

  • @Antizog1941 Yes, South of Ireland does alot of IIIIII souds, and in the middle like Dublin does a bit the same only less iii, And north is less of that

  • @Antizog1941 Yup the accent changes like every 15 minutes of driving O.O

  • It sounds like one of those really bad movie Irish accents

  • If we really sound like that, I can see why nobody takes us fucking seriously. I've never heard any true Irish person talk like that. Is it just that I don't notice?

  • Comment removed

  • This video seems racist.........

  • We all came here for Niall, lol

  • @dandandanielaa true story!

  • @dandandanielaa

    Hahaha so truu <3

  • I came here for Niall Horan..

  • Is this chap racist or what?

  • He sounds like a bogger from Cavan.

  • This makes me sad. I do not sound like that! D:

  • Im irish and that is nothing like an irish accent thats offensive you are making us sound like a lepricon!

  • @LeannexLover lepricons are irish ;D muhaha

  • @LeannexLover He makes American's sound like red necks ;p

  • @LeannexLover Well we do sound like leprechauns since they are Ireland.

  • That's more like a traveller accent, people need to start understanding that within different parts of the area, there are different variations in accent.

  • Holy shit! It's so obvious now how the boston accent came to be. Seems like a mixture of irish and english pronunciations

  • Stupid attempted!

  • you sound like a leprechaun, i dont know any irish person that speaks like that

  • Crn Beef in cabeege

  • Awesome!!! My irish ancestor brain Borough would be proud.

  • @DaxamaPrime I'm Irish and nobody speaks like that unless they live in the middle of nowhere.

  • hes reading off of cue cards

  • What the fk do you think us irish are? those gobshite americans they get too play as leprechauns? This isnt an irish accent ya english ****.

  • That was a load a bullshit, should be renamed to a guide to a bleedin culchie

  • @aamybates no culchie speaks like that believe me

  • Sweet suffering mother, that was terrible.

The whole "Oi" thing only happens in Dublin and hardly anywhere else so don't use that as a general Irish accent.

Please people, don't use this as a guide to an Irish accent.

  • @afesca I wouldn't say just Dublin. Also much of the eastern and southeastern part of the Republic including Waterford, Cork and Clare. Who said he was doing a "general Irish accent"? Maybe he was trying to be more specific. Give him a break people.

  • @afesca Clare and Cork are southwestern though

  • @konohamarutard that is not Irish. Irish is a totally different language. If this was Irish it would say things like :

Conas ata tú and ....... Is ainm dom.

  • Only like 5% of people in Ireland speak like that and most of them are from the country side.

  • @RoisinHanlon98 my cousin is from Ireland and she barely has an accent at all. just enough to where you can tell she isnt american lol

  • I'm Irish, and I think if you're really a "voice coach" and that's all you can muster then perhaps you should find another line of employment. It's terrible and far too stereotypical, borderline racist. You need, conas a déarfeá, "prowess" to accomplish a good Irish accent. It requires style, sophistication and sleekness - not a pack of leprechaun grown potatoes being shoved down a pig's throat with some shamrock stuffing by a farmer wearing a flat cap drinking a pint of Guinness.

  • i'm from brazil and i have perfect british and american accent but i can't do irish right! man this i frustrating.. :(

  • Funniest thing I've seen in a long time and I am Irish. Stop being so mean everyone. This is classic gold comedy.

  • Your Irish accent is diabolical. :\

  • thumbs up if you're here because you want to sound like Niall Horan (:

  • @brooklynwatts Honestly I came here cause I wanted to sound like sean devlin from the saboteur

  • It this fuck accurate, as a irish man myself we do not speak like this, bar a select few from counties in the mid lands such as laois who do not prenounce their TH's.

  • @seanlacken Correct.

  • @seanlacken You must be too fresh out of nappies to understand the reason most Irish people don't pronounce their th's. It's because not so long ago we used to speak our native language and were forced to speak English. Here's an example Thomas in Irish is Tomás. Personally I think pronouncing th's makes you sound like a ponce the English can't even speak their native language properly for fuck sake.

  • Im Irish and I wanted to see what the stereotype is for accents and this is pretty accurate

  • it helps if you exhale while you talk with an irish accent as well.

  • Love this ahhaha

  • This video is not worthy for any more likes! Dislike now

Following his easy Irish accent guide will help you learn the sounds and make you speak like an Irish person. Listen Gareth if you would have called this stage Irish then you wouldn't have caused offence, but the fact you called it How to do an Irish accent makes me wonder how you ever became an actor and a voice coach in the first place, because this is just plainly racist. My Irish accent is far better then your stupid racist video.

  • @MrShawno1231 what do you know about racism in the first place? In my point of view, this person is trying to teach you how to do a irish accent. I don't how that is racism! Also I'm from Portugal, wich means I'm not fluent in the english language and sometimes it's difficult to understand the differente accents. So, does this helps? Yeah, you bet it does.

  • @hitch1ker Yeah right Stage Irish maybe. He is trying to make the assumption that all Irish people talk like leprechauns, that is why it is racist. If you actually think Irish people talk like this then shame on you. This is nowhere near how to do an Irish accent I should know, because I have done it myself. I have even used it when talking to Irish people and they said I sounded Irish, But this is just stupid, Hey if you want to learn the accent, then learn it from Irish people themselves.

  • Your OW sound is wrong, but the rest isn't bad! And all the angry Irish people need to relax here.

  • @JonasBridgous Relax? So you didn't think this was at all racist for a guy who gives it large and claims He is a vocal coach? Hey I'm not from Ireland my self, and even I want to bop this guy in the mouth. The whole attempt was shit and racist! He tried to make the impression that all Irish people spoke like fucking Leprechauns! That is why we have got a load of pissed Irish people here, I say, fair play to them. I know for a fact? Irish people would be so fucking angry if you spoke like this!

  • @MrShawno1231 This is very strange coming from someone who isn't even Irish. This guy's accent is a little stereotypical, but how on earth do you call it racist?? People like you need to lighten up and start thinking about the problems of the world that actually matter rather than something so trivial as 'the Irish accent'.

  • @JonasBridgous Well if your thinking on the lines of becoming an actor, this bullshit is not going to get you anywhere! Lots of Irish people have already complained here, if you tell them the same thing you have to me. They will not be pleased. How now brown cow? People from Ireland have never actually used that sentence as far as I'm aware. So Its not just his accent He is also using stereotypical typical phrases. there are things wrong with the world, but that does not give him an excuse.

  • Racist prick come over to Ireland and we'll bait ya

  • Your A FAGGOT. Speak like dat in Ireland and ill SMACK u ya Prick!

  • I looked this up just for Niall Horan. oh yes

  • ay lil buble at da front of er mouth hahahahahaha! Why does this make me laugh so hard!

  • NIALL HOORAAANNNN :')

  • NIALLLLLLLLand potatoes

  • @iamsomeone342 Raw. Potatoes.

  • This Guy is a Total Wanker! I can do the Irish accent that is so NOT stereotypical, and I'm not even from Ireland though I wish I was, because I think your country is beautiful and the best. I'm thinking of becoming an actor when I'm older. Most of my friends screw up in scenes, By trying to distract each other for fun. Me on the other hand, I like my work to be done with perfection, and not have it screwed up by other people. (I still like My friends though XD)

  • I came here for Niall Horan.

  • @jayleeniee Me too! :)

  • talk like dat wer im from your askin to get murderd

  • He obviously got training from Gerald Butler :P

  • u still cant speak with an irish accent

  • OMG I CAN SPEAK IRISH NOW x33333

  • Comment removed

  • I really doubt he will be jumed on or something like that if he talks like that in ireland. its just your little fantasy world.

  • someones been watching too much father ted

  • No. Just no.

  • This guy clearly has never been to Ireland...he probably "learned" these techniques by watching that episode of Murder She Wrote when Jessica Fletcher went to Ireland...idiot!

  • My god this guy really is a twat. I'd stab him if I saw him on the street

  • ok do you honestly think we sit under rainbows with pots of gold? understand this English, Your a fucking idiot, get another day job!

  • Anyone who pays for this service is a clown. He sounds like an idiot. Typical english twat

  • Guys, seriously what the fuck? You're all being such twats to him. It might not be perfect but he is just generalising the accent so people can get the idea of it easier. So all of you can go crawl back in your cave and learn to criticise people once you're perfect.

  • @LaaauuurrreeennnnnP Well it took me about 5 days to learn the accent, and I'm not even from Ireland myself and I don't sound like this when I act out the accent. I have already been told by a few Irish people that I have a lovely Irish accent. Generalising? I'm sorry but He's the one saying He is an actor and a voice coach. I wouldn't say I'm perfect myself but I know a lot more about the Irish accent then him. This arsehole just wants your money plain and simple.

  • @MrShawno1231 Fair do's then. I don't know much about the accent, well just that it's incredibly sexy aha. I was just sticking up for him 'cause I just thought people were being quite horrible but yeah.. :-)

  • He is such a twat.

  • I learned more watching the glee project

  • He's talking like a farmer. Come to Ireland talking like that you will be jumped..

  • People in cork don't speak like this. In the midland's they don't even pronounce T's and in Dublin it's the complete opposite of what he said

  • fuck off back 2 english

  • your some fucking bellend. speak like that around here and you'l get your ass kicked all the way back to Enngllaaaannnnd or fackkking Laaaandannnn!!!

  • ah the poor guys trying guys! give him a break!

  • As an American who holidays in Ireland quite a bit I can say the Irish accent is my favorite accent not just in the UK but in all of europe. I love it :D

  • @GougerOfTheGroin Ireland is not in the UK. Northern Ireland is. I do hope that is the accent you are referring too ^_^

  • @GougerOfTheGroin REPUBLIC of Ireland, we're not part of the UK.

  • @Gtrizy yeeah?

  • @Thenewgirlintown007 Tá do gaeilge uafásach! Gor mhaith agat? An bhfuil tú ag magadh? GO RAIBH MAITH AGAT

It means literally "that there would be good at you" or something similar

  • Lads ya have ta admit its kinda racist

  • I Could really use one of those headsets, where can i get those ?

  • NIALL.

  • Irish person says no

  • lol! irish sound like that you just dont realize it!

  • Just to clarify, no one, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, speaks like this in my country. There is a huge variation in the accents.

    This guy should be shot.

  • ireland vs england agein

  • Rih i'm Irish and i fuckin do not sound like tah!

  • rishi this

    rishi this

  • It won't load!!!!

  • feckin garbage, go home 2b fuk

  • @TeamxXSalvatore Another yank claiming to be irish

  • @sundaysupersynth If your American how did it offend you.

  • you are a joke! get a real job...

  • haha, i love how many dislikes "how to do an accent" videos have. everyone's like, "nuh-huh! i'm from ..., and we sound NOTHING like that!!!" i can't wait to come across one where the the speaker is actually from there, and commenters still insist that they sound nothing like that.
