@Nattigirl2 Joe Jackson is not and was never a Jehovah's Witness, only Katherine. Joe was their manager, and as most reports state he ran the home and their (early) career with an iron fist. So it does not surprise me that the Jackson boys recorded a XMAS album. Katherine probably didn't contest too much, since JWs tell the women to allow their husbands to run the household according to how they see fit, even if he's a "nonbeliever". XMAS album+J5 = mo' money!

(He had a daughter with another woman in 1974, and who knows how many others there are out there.) But then again, even though I respect their faith otherwise, I find it silly how Jehova's wittnesses don't celebrate Christmas or birthdays, and I'm glad the J5 were allowed to do a Christmas album.

No like most carols this song was written before the Jackson brothers ever existed. Anyways the Jackson brothers were Jehovah's witnesses so they didn't believe in Jesus so it's extremely unlikely they would have written a song about him.
