  • now where the fuck is Burncollector239's comment?

  • Who gives a shit where someone heard a song. The great thing about music, is there are no fair weather fans. You either like a genre or you don't. When people are introduced to amazing music like this, I am grateful. Music like this deserves to live forever

  • where can i find other great songs like this???

  • @bofoloko Check out my channel, cos the Cure is great music and similar to New Order.

  • Another band that only had one hit was NOHO with a single TOUCH...check them out. These were called EP's, extended 12 inch vinyl dance records.

  • @CuddlyDog1 I do think Secession "Touch" {Ext Mix by Noho} is a great example of the song.

  • Tom's favorite was the ten minute version of Perfect Kiss. Very influential band. They tested the limits of what you could do with synthesizer and dance music.

  • Tom still has this cassette in the original plastic wrapper with receipt.

  • 4:19 - 4:51 epic music

  • knowing that New Order once was Joy Divison,.... I really liked JD better

  • fuck you bitches.if it wasn't for hot tub time machine i probably never would've heard about this awesome song.hot tube time machine rules!

  • Haha my cousin loved NO, and thats how i got into Morrissey, The Smiths, Joy Division you don't need some funny movie 80's is a disease mang

  • Hot tube time machine

  • Iradoo

  • Saw New Order live tonight - Magic!

  • 80's rock!! They were the best years ever!

  • So, just read some of the comments about how all music we hear today is from the 80s... First off, I'm pretty sure Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, Wiz Kalifa, deadmou5, Mayday Parade, Taylor Swift.... along with many others, didn't come from the 80s.

Secondly, half of the music anyone ever does "discover" or like is from a TV show, a movie, or the radio. no one just sits around searching for music no one else has heard... That's called a talent agent.

PS, this song is in What's Your Number also.

  • No one cares if you're in your 30's... how long you've known this song... or whether or not you like hot tub time machine. The fact of the matter is that we're on this page to hear this song. And no, not ALL music was taken from the 80's.

  • i found this in a skate video. i love skating. and i love this song. we weren't all alive in the 80's...soooo whateva whateva to people who think its bad to "find" songs and not just know about them, through like photosynthesis or something. thats just FOOLISH!

  • 25 years later, and it still gives me chills.

  • I love the 80s they were the best years

and every song u here now was taking frm the 80s

  • @carloscoronaa it's the story of ian curtis his wife and his lover.... Ian was the lead signer of joy division. After ian commit suicide in 1980 they became new order

  • Fuckin' sweet song!

  • A LO TUYOOOOOOOOOOO

  • This is a great song!

  • Good times... =)

  • im 14years old and i love this kind of songs XD

  • @Burncollector239

Would you rather they not discover it at all? Not everyone was born/lived through that era! Good for you for being a kid with great taste in music, but don't slag others who discover music through other means. I applaud them for digging this tune, and the film showcasing great music! Don't act like a hipster.

  • Manchester!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lazorlasso Yeah I agree.....

  • @Burncollector239 straight up. i used to hear this song at the mall back in the early 90's. i don't even know what time machine is lol.

  • @Burncollector239 IM PATRICK START BEEETCH!!!!

  • @TacoSupreme94 Star* :3

  • @Burncollector239 douchebag

  • @Burncollector239 Well how else are 14-25 year olds gonna hear it, considering we weren't alive when this was a hit.

  • @damosanchex But i´m 11 years old ._.

  • @Burncollector239 Your So Right.. Wanna Get Irritated Even More? Go To Joe Jackson's ''Steppin Out'' and see how many People Like The Song After Playing Grand Theft Auto.

  • @Burncollector239 At least they are discovering it. Don't be a musical douche.

  • @Burncollector239 I am 31 and liked this song when I caught in on MTV as a child. No, fuck you. Hot Tube Time Machine was a great movie. It just happened to remind me how good this song was, and how good my childhood was...

  • @kainronin1 I am 35 and I also liked this song since i was a child, and I still say Fuck Hot Tub Time Machine, I really don't give a rats ass what you think either, different opinions, deal with it..............

  • @Burncollector239 Then no one gives a rats ass what you think. Maybe you should stop liking the song if it bothers you so much that its starting to get played more. Deal with it.

  • @xxalexinchainsxx Ha Ha, I don't care if people are playing the song more, I am "Dealing with it." I am glad people like the song, I am just sick of hearing about Hot Tub Time Machine, so don't get your panties in a bunch, jeeze, obviously somebody cares what I think or I would'nt not have 17 thumbs up on my comment, yurp!

  • @Burncollector239 I find it hilarious that you bragged about having 17 thumbs up, but now the two top-rated comments are against you. One called you a douchebag.

You fail sir. You are a bad person and the only people that like you are also douchebags. Enjoy your life of being exclusively accepted by assholes.

  • @Burncollector239

Why would you feel sorry for them? I'd feel happy because they're finally discovering great tunes! Not everyone has a means to discover totally awesome music all of the time. People are so self-righteous and pretentious about music - SHARE IT anyway possible with everyone. Music fucking rules - it shouldn't be a 'private club'.

  • @jessicarecluse i love you

  • @jessicarecluse I think the way that some people feel about it is because we're (yes, I have this opinion) afraid that ignorant minds will pollute our awesome music with crappy remixes, that's how we got in this position today with the music industry, right? We put trust into them, and then they repay us with crap. :/

  • @Burncollector239 Considering the only exposure this music gets is in new movies these days, you either have to be extremely old or watch movies in order to find out about great music like this. Find something less cliché to do than complain about "young people these days". I found out about New Order because I heard Orgy's cover of Blue Monday and looked up the original. It doesn't matter how people find good music, as long as they find it.

  • @xxRazorJadexx Right on man, the internet is full of wankers talking smack about shit they would get smacked in the mouth for in person...

  • @xxRazorJadexx Really,I find out about old music all the time, music older than me for that matter, simply by browsing youtube, checking out videos connected to others, I don't care if people find music through movies, I made one comment and I'm not going to defend myself anymore. I will say it again, Fuck Hot Tub Time Machine, if you don't like my comment, too bad, why don't you find something better to do, why do you care? I don't sit around worrying about what others think, thats just sad....

  • @Burncollector239 I honestly don't care. I'm simply combative and I like telling people off. It's all the better when the people I'm telling off are complete hypocrites. Example: You ask why I care so much about what someone on the internet is doing, but you commented on a video, criticizing people who found out about a song from a movie. You obviously care about where people discover their music. That's quite sad as well. Sadder, I'd warrant.

  • @Burncollector239 Not to mention the fact that you have no idea whether or not the people you were accusing of "living under fucking rocks" scour the internet for good music just like you do. What if they just happened to find this one song from a movie? Are you telling me you've never found out about a good song from a movie before? Seriously, you were just trying to act superior to people on the internet, with no real reason or thought behind it. Classic douche.

  • @xxRazorJadexx Wow. I'm extremely old. LOL. I'm 41 now and was in my teens all through the 80's. This stuff was amazing then and hasn't faded since. Tons of easily discoverable, fantastic music on the tubes now, so dig, dig, and enjoy.

  • @whiterockcorner Now there's a positive attitude! I will keep digging, thank you!

  • @Burncollector239 What is hot tub time machine? This song just reminds me of great dance parties! Yeeeah!

  • i was in high school when the new wave music became popular.i miss the 80's because they were the best years of my life.

  • @MsCanadian26 Glad I wasn't in high school in the 80's, or I'd probably hate the 80's like I hate the late 90's.

  • I think the greatest time to be alive was back in 1986, a freshman in college, white, rich, and attractive. The greatest times to be had were by privileged white males in the 80's.

  • I was born in the 90's but i wish I lived my teenage years in the 80's! everything seemed so fun then how it is now.

  • Hot Tub Time Machine? <3

  • Maestros

  • Man , New Order = fucking genius. I'm from LA , California where Morrisey is worshipped. Not to hate against the Smiths or anything but I raise the flag for New Order over here in LA. Part of that has to do with being hit over the the head with The Smiths from middle through highschool and even years after highschool to this day. I was born in 1986 btw. Everytime my friends would ask me why I like New Order over The Smiths , I'd just tell them to listen to this song. Nuff said :)

  • @pistolpimp36 Thats why they invented headphones !

  • @TheAlienAssassin viva the 80'S !

  • @MrQuietrob i was born in the 70's & enjoyed the 80's thoroughly. i was a kid in the 70's but remember being in england in the 70's. my grandmother was visiting & we saw a punk with safety pins in his cheeks--she was horrified, i thought it was soooo cool.
