The "punk" scene today is definitely not a punk scene. It's all sissy fashion, no idea what punk was all about. This band here is not Hardcore Punk in any way shape or form. It's formulaic, a product. It's a very bad immitation of the pop-ish hardcore punk of Gorilla Biscuits and the sell-out lame-o blink 182.

-Hardcore came from punk not metal, so a band with punk roots is usualy closer to hardcore than a band with metal roots.

-First hardcore bands were bad brains, black flag and MINOR THREAT and that makes them the most hardcore bands ever.

-I would call them punk, but they DO have hardcore influences. Call them what you want i bet they coulden't care less
