  • Has anyone been to Tom Clark's philosophy cafe on the Harvard campus? If this video is any indicator, I think those would be some amazing meetings to attend!

  • getting rid of the ancient notions of soul does not equal determinism unless, you equate soul and consciousness, which i do not. The science of consciousness is still evolving, per Daniel Dennet, Sam Harris etal. Seems to me consciousness and free will exist and can be decribed scientifically and biologically.
