did you use the lx motor or swap in a gt motor and boost it ive heard they have different compression and the lx cant handle much boost thats why i ask
the can is a gt, so im using gt motor on my gt mx6, i do have another n/a mx6 which is the same color. its a nitrous car. but however i do have a probe with lx high compression motor in it and 17psi. lx motor are as strong as gt,if not stronger
@ademanster oh no wonder because all of your videos it says lx i just thought you bolted on a turbo to it, one more question my tranny is going on my gt can i use a lx tranny will it bolt right up?
you cannot use lx tranny on gt axle and , the spline are different, also the rear/front motor mount . but anyway the lx tranny is strong, you can use it if you want but then you will have to use lx flywheel and clutch are smaller to clear the bell housing.
haha sorry i got two accounts, but this is my main one. but im starting out with the bottom half of the turbo motor, and im going to rebuild it from the bottom up. right now i have the n/a modle 91 just bare bones at like 130 hp exhaust, intake, stage 2 centerforce racing clutch and it still roles civics.haha
