@xEkOi yeah, I agree, It was a very good price, but as I expected, some parts were in a pretty rough shape. battery drains very quick and and rear cover is scratched, so I bought another one today for 20 bucks. I also bought new battery for 16 bucks, so in total it cost me 136$. Of course it will look like new with panels replaced, but you can find some 2G's in ebay in a pretty good shape for this price.

the 4 has the same cpu and gpu of the 3gs but OC to 1Ghz and double the ram!

Infact the difference isn't so big! The 3gs has a cortex a8 @ 600mhz, a powervr sgx535 and 256Mb ram, the iphone 4 has a cortex a8 @ 1Ghz, a powervr sgx 535 and 512Mb ram!

i dont mean to defend any of them, (i personally have the 4g) but the reason some are slower is cause of the software version. the later the software, the slower it is. the best is to go with the coreponding generation/version. (ie, 4g-4.0+-5.0, 2g-2.0-3.0 2g works best with 2.2.1)

This is fixed, The 2G had far more pages of apps than the others, with 3G having second most, then 3GS having the least. Of course there will be speed differences, but they should be fairly texted and demonstrated.
