  • 3minutes of crap, 2minutes of useless details ... hooray ...

  • Hi, I am hoping someone can assist me with this issue: My WD Mybook 2.0 TB is NOT working! When I click on the MYBOOK drive,I am seeing that 570GB is free! BUT all I can see is the recycler folder and an xml file. How do I regain access to my files? (By the way, I am running Vista) PLEASE HELP!!!

  • this totally didnt help me but omg your accent is adorableeeeeee!!!!

  • make sure you guys update the firmware on the site prior to transferring files. the second day of using it i got a "malfunctioning" pop-up which scared the crap out of me. found a quick fix luckily and now everything is cool after the update

  • i think in gona get that, but just a question, why is it so big?

  • Up to en times faster means than UBS 3.0 is 10 times faster than the USB 2.0. No hard disk drive is actually fast enough to fully utilise USB 3.0 speed so that is why this hard drive is only 3 times faster on USB 3.0. USB 3.0 also has an advantage in that it allows devices to draw more power from the UBS port allowing for the elimination of external power on some devices.

    Thanks for the review. :)

  • Will this work on a PS3?

  • Just curious, where did you get your desk at?

  • Where is the AF? :P haha.

  • damn... i bought this today and now im depressed cuz my pc doesent recognize the drive anyhow, not even in bios or anywhere... its just powered on but nothing happens....im not sure should i regret but i havent got any answer from the seller so may some of you guys help? /=

  • @MrNikname Same thing happened to me, but it was a simple fix. Just plugged it into a different USB port lol. Might work for you, too. :)

  • Get the 3.0 TB like i did!

  • @thescallykiller im getting that one, do you have any problems with USB 2.0 not working? I do have a USB 3.0 controller installed though

  • @battlemaster116 No i didnt have any problems, on usb 2.0 you wont get speeds above 15mb/s but i am now using it through usb 3.0 on my new computer, havent had any problems. Getting much higher transfer speeds now though :D

  • @thescallykiller only if you need more space.. which i doubt you do

  • @818doodooroo oh i did, almost filled mine already

  • how do i use this hd in usb 2.0 mode???....do i need a special cable or what???....plz help thanks

  • @rharripersad No the HDD comes with a normal usb cable which will allow you to use it on any usb 2.0 computer.

  • USB 3.0 is compatible with 2.0, so the cable is the same, only when is connected to a USB 3.0 motherboard it recognise and use full x3 speed vs 2.0. Obvio que sirve con 2.0, sino solo serviria para la gente que tiene computadoras del 2011 para delantes sería la única que podria trasladar datos usando este medio.

  • Mario just gave you a chance to do this too as he could have made this any day. Is he making good money and you want a cut?

  • @PleaseGoAway1000 He's my younger brother, he's ill, and asked me for a favour. I have no intention of taking any cut. I will do any video he needs to me to. That's what brothers do- help each other out. I'm sorry if you never had that kind of relationship with any siblings.

    Mark

  • Cool,Sorry to hear that Mario's not well,Get better soon buddy,I honestly thought you were mario when you started speaking, lol, anyway,Been thinking of getting me another HDD like this one cos it matches the colour of my PC,I need to get me a 3,0 USB Card,Sound's wicked to have those speed's,Thank's for the video :)
