John Stewart is so full of sh*t, just Thursday he made the following statements on The Daily Show:
"There is only 1 Republican left and he wins the nomination" "Obama is the only presidential candidate out there that didn't vote for the war"(he did however vote for the Patriot Act)
B.S., John Stewart and you know it, you're bought just like the rest of them, you have become what you're complaining about.
Ron Paul is responsible for delivering 1000s of new lives into the world. The Bush family has been responsible for taking 100s of thousands of lives, the Bush family is death obsessed, Ron Paul is life obsessed, doesn't that just say it all? I am praying from the UK for Ron Paul to get into power to put right the damage Bush has done to the U.S. Come on America, show the world you have balls of steel and vote in the right man. From the UK with love.
God I hope Jon does put him on his show and expose him for the hack he is. I'm sorry but if your voting record goes along 80% of your party's line then you are not a renegade. And one vote against the war does not make you competent. Enjoy your wasted votes Rondroids.
john stewart, you would think would want ron paul on there, but he doesnt cause he is a corporate shill, supposedly on the side of the people, but comedy central decides who comes on. and i dont think the big wig fat rich guys would like ron paul on there..all though stewart speaks like he would....

God you people are stupid.Ron pauls policies would condemn poor people in America to complete poverty and lets big businesses do what they like regulation free.He would equal double the amount of poverty and a 100 enrons.
You're confusing the free market with corporatism or "crony capitalism". This isn't just Ron Paul and his band of libertarians saying this either. Anyone who's educating on the matter (e.g. leftists Naomi Wolf and Dennis Kucinich) will tell you Enron or Halliburton are not examples of the free market.
Before calling people stupid, pick up a book/newspaper and get learned.
thank you. Ron Paul is great in some ways. He supports individual liberties and thinks government should intervene less. in mild doses the latter is good. but what he wants is for the whole contry to be isolated; isolated like the South is from the rest of the country. And dammit, his support comes from the NRA! He wants assault weapons to be accessible to the public. WTF!
Paul's no isolationist. Do you think that by withdrawing armed forces from a country, you isolate yourself from it?
He wants weapons to be accessible, true. As they are now, but they are to be accessible to the good guys, too. People nowadays have trouble protecting their own property. A madman can always fetch a gun and kill a bunch of people, but the airlines can't even put their armed guards on their planes.
He is pro choice! As for abortion, I believe he is against it, because he know he has to get the jesus freaks vote to get elected. But he also said he is against the government deciding for you, so it would stay a personnal decision.
REGISTER REPUBLICIAN NOW: States with OPEN primaries are now CLOSING!!
You CANNOT switch parties after OCTOBER 12 in NEW YORK and NEW HAMPSHIRE and if you are not registered as republican by then, YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!
If it came down to 2 for 2, Hillary tell's it like it is, and America could find some peace knowing we've got a serious, mature and kind hearted president with real experience that could make a difference. Like when her Husband was president. And if Ron Paul were president long ago America wouldn't have understood the meaning of freedom or what it meant, nor the importance there of, because the country would've never faught for it to begin with.
Yea, you seem well informed... "Vote for Hillary Clinton because her last name is Clinton... Bill did alright, therefore Hillary will do alright." What a fallacy... First of all, "Didn't do too bad" is a relative statement. I don't want a president who simply "won't do too bad." Also, you must look at where are country is now (on all standpoints, including our civil liberties) in comparison to the past. American politics need a change, and Hillary Clinton is not the answer.
Alright, I think Clinton did a damn good job with what he had to work with at the time as any individual could accomplish and he's still going around, everyone has flaws and nobody's perfect so it's a waste of time picking flaws and takes alot more to run a country than being either soley a passive thinker or active one, there must be a balance.
The only way i found out about Ron Pual in the beginning is because I got email spam loaded with Vote for Ron Paul garbage, I waved it off as nothing until I started recieving it everywhere online. Then when I did the research and listened to what the guy actually had to say via interviews I've come to the conclusion if he were president long ago the entire country would be barely functioning and not as communicative.
Almost every major branch of law enforcement and country security would be gone, all the years hard work of those that passed long before, decades. Reduced military power and global presence, reduced programs, hindered communication between existing branches making it all unorganized and time intensive, it's going back to the dark ages. It's like he's just learning what the internet is. He's not totally with it to actually run the country when shit hits the fan.
B.T.W., Hillary tells it like it is? I could quote several instances in the media that point out that this is not so. I'm curious what you are basing this on... Ron Paul has kept a steady voting record; in fact, his opinions remain 100% consistent in terms of our constitutional rights.
Hillary Got Shut up about her biggest project-health care while her boy was in office for one....Two, do you mean to say if Dr. Paul was president long ago we wouldn't know freedom because we wouldn't have to be fighting for it? What freedoms have you lost since all this Crap happend?
If he was president a when freedom was originally faught for America wouldn't know freedom because America wouldn't have had freedom because America wouldn't have faught to protect something the country and people truelly believed in. So that leads me to believe the president would've given up early on and just handed the country to a foreign government.
What has been accuring (The implications of unconstitutional Laws) the educated Americans don't believe in it for one second! Knight are you willing to fight for your freedoms now? Look at Dr. Paul's Voting record...
He's Voted for American Freedoms and Rights since he's been in office.
I do it all the time, I'll probably tell message youtube to see about increasing the charactor limit so we don't have to keep making as many posts. Only since he's been in office? I just don't have confidence in him running the whole country at this point, he's gaining some experience and changing his tone a bit so it's better late than never.
But if he still believe's in getting rid of the main government branches that people elect and oversee security inside and abroad and eliminating free trade with other countries and hunkering down in the US and putting walls and boundaries to keep everyone else out and only looking withing the box that's not good because it's ignoring global issue's that affect people here at home.
Alot of technology and products like electronics and other goods that come from foreign locations may be affected by eliminating trade and communication dialog with other countries between people. And does he believe in NWO? If he does then dunno why he's wanting to become president if he believes the entire government system is a sham or propegation unless he wants to clean house.
That's not to say the whitehouse would fall apart if he lived there, but the toilet's might be backed up by the time he moved. And all the internet spam under his name might have put him on TV and gotten notice, the younger audience is targetted. Rudy is realistic but maybe way too head strong at times.
Ron Paul seems to be in another world, at times somewhat lost so it's a bit chaotic. he'd probably disable the government to the point it'd handicap people to where if you needed something done there'd be nobody to go to for anything. Like a house that sit's and fall's apart without anything solid established to work on it to keep it up.
A Mechanic to fix things. But the only one out of any of those that has the experience and would probably act on what they say or atleast try too would be Hillary. Clinton didn't do too bad and it's his wife this time, Hillary seems like a responsible woman and it'd be a change to see like in other countries how a woman handles the US. John Edwards is ok but he's got wife that needs him at her side. Barrack, I just don't believe him he originally believed in what he was saying at first.
It has become so clear that Obama and Clinton would just keep on spending the borrowed trillions. Ron Paul is the only candidate I have studied (have you read every democratic and republican website? At least their "issues" lists? I have) who has been consistent in voting for smaller government and reduced spending throughout his political career. Please take ten minutes, if not one hour to find out more about Ron Paul before deciding. Ron Paul is President of the United States for me.
If you like what Ron Paul has to say and would like to make a contribution, please donate to his campaign before September 30th if possible.(ronpaul2008dotcom/donate)
LOL. It would appear sir that you are in denial about your addiction to Ron Paul videos. My video is extremely dated and it clearly has "Ron Paul" in the description.
we have to get to EVERY Individual in the United States to know about Ron Paul. Go door to door if you have to. Normally these extremes wouldnt be necessary, but if the media isn't going to play fair, then we have to do what we have to do to spread the word and save our freedom.
Of all the republican candidates, Ron Paul seems to be the most reasonable. But WTF, reintroducing the gold standard? That's the most stupid idea anyone has come up with in a long while.
Honestly I used to think so too until I read more about it. Alan Greenspan always advocated a gold standard and wrote a great essay on it. Also, Ron would be realistic and would simply legalize the printing of gold and silver certificates in competition with the non-commodity backed currency we currently use. Thus people would have a choice between greenbacks, and gold/silver certificates similar to the time of the Anti-gold futures act of 1864.
LOL, instead of saying "that's stupid". Why not try engaging in an intellectual conversation and present an actual rebuttal to my argument or Alan Greenspan's essay?
That's stupid is the most accurate simple straight forward explaination there is. Like in the Federal Reserve? Way too many scam artists using that gold and precious metals investment stuff.
I don't know why DIGG is mentioned as a positive force. Anyone that spends any amount of time on DIGG now realizes that Ron Paul articles are being buried and censored constantly and in an outrageous fashion.
Sign the Ron Paul petition NOW so they can't ignore him! We're close to 20k signatures and please write a what you'll do next to your signature if they try to keep him out of the Presidential race!
You see fellow Americans...we did it!!! We contacted the Jon Daily show & "demanded" Ron PAul be on the program & he was!!! How great that we can pull this off! CNN totally SUCKS for their after show Non-coverage of Ron but it only means they are so afraid!!! Rock on Ron Paul 2008!!!
A shame Mike Gravel is already running with Steven Colbert, because when he and Ron Paul lose their respective Primaries I'd like to see the two on the same ticket. Maybe if by some miraculous lack of corruption they both win their primaries Ron Paul can have Stewart as his running mate and the two of them will run against Gravel and Colbert.
Mike gravel is okay but he won't decentralize government significantly enough. I do like his national initiative program. Although I don't like his semi socialistic and global perspective on carbon tax tallied with the U.N.
Especially when global warming is a very controversial issue these days.
Oh and the main reason most people are voting for Ron Paul is because he wants to do away with the federal reserve.
I don't think people are voting for Ron Paul primarily on the Fed issue, because most people don't know what the Fed is or does. I think it's his Iraq/Tax/Free Market/Liberty stance that attracts people. However, I do agree that one of Ron Paul's primary reasons for running is to abolish the Fed.
thanks for this video. do you know if people change parties to republican now whether they can vote in the next primarieS? ive been trying to find this out on voting websites, but its not 100% clear to me...i think many pple who want to vote for him arent necessarily republican...so to get him elected its paramount to know if we can vote if we change parties now and still vote...would u know?
If you want to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries, check this chart out to see if you have to register Republican: (dot) fairvote (dot) org (slash) ?page=1801
yes, you can absolutely reregister as a republican to vote in their primaries. if your state has open primaries you may not even need to do that, but many states are not open, so check website that schulwitz gave.
I'm looking for one. I don't have a TV. I drove around looking for a bar where I could watch, but they were all too loud. I hope someone puts it up. It will probably be taken down, because the Daily Show frowns on it.
You can usually see them at thedailyshow(dot)com ; although, they haven't uploaded the videos yet. It is actually illegal to post comedycentral videos on YouTube, and so they'd probably get filtered anyway.
2) buy stick of white shoe polish/white window marker
3) write "WHO IS RON PAUL?" or "RON PAUL R3VOLUTION" on your back windshield
If 200 people/day see it, that's 50,000 people by the time of primaries! If 5,000 Ron Paul supporters do this, that's 250,000,000 people exposed to his name by primaries! Dr. Paul's only challenge at this point is not Giuliani or Romney, but exposure to the general populace, so let's get it done!
Fantastic job, keep it up and we're gonna win. The elite get power by keeping secrets, the people get power by exposing them, and the revolution is on. We need to push the truth Dr. Ron Paul has spoken in a media blackout for 30 years to wake the public, impeach Bush/Cheney, hold elections, and get President Ron Paul sooner than 20 months from now, let's get it... :-)
...But, it is on now! Bring down the media empires...let them know they have made enough and we want real journalism back! Who is the real "fake" news The Daily Show/Colbert Report or the knee jerk ratings addicts? CSPAN and NPR may be the most boring, but they are certainly the most ethical. If you wan't entertaining "news" watch Comedy Central!!!

WE"VE DONE IT! He's going to be on the Daily Show and the Colbert report, they just havn't picked a date yet! Don't let that stop you from going to comdeycentral . c o m and sending a polite request in!
Didn't Paul ruin his chances of Presidency win Mayor Rudy G. twisted Ron Paul's words at the debate? I don't think the public will vote for him b/c of that.
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is not a real news show. It's a paradoy of a news show because it is shown on Comedy Central. Not CNN, Fox News, or MSNBC. Get over it, folks.
Honestly I would rather get my news from a show like TDS. In recent years I find myself questioning the credibility of the "big 3" news networks. Espically after the second GOP debate. Watch these to see what I mean. youtube DOT com/watch?v=VY-KlYg9UME youtube DOT com/watch?v=0ht1bo5UhOs
LMFAO ... calling CNN, and MSNBC news is already a stretch, but when you threw Fox in there you totally lost all credibility. If you're not aware that most media outlets are owned by 1 of 8 corporations, and have a corporate duty to make the most money for its shareholders, then you're in the dark. TDS isn't perfect, but its eons better than the other filth you listed. Educate yourself with CSPAN and the internet people!
Yes...Ron Paul start on Daily Show can help do the hand off to the Colbert Report...and then Better Know a District...Texas' The Fighting 14th. I fear Comedy Central although almost alway right on will not let him because he will detract from the favored Dem Candidates...I have to say I hope this is not so, he is one that will turn us back toward constitutionality at and go forward at the same time.
Vendetta Rage has got it right. Stewarts coverage montage of the debates misquoted Ron Paul, including him in the whole "let's all parrot REAGAN" thing. Go to comedy central. c0m and write in to the daily show requesting formally to have Ron Paul interviewed. *Hillary and Guiliani are the two sides of the same Janus.
I'm curious has Stephen Colbert interviewed Ron Paul yet on his Better Know a Distirct interviews? Either way I still agree with you, Ron Paul should go on the Daily Show, than he should go on The Colbert Report.
WOW Len, I just looked at the Daily Show message board and like 30% of the posts are to get Dr. Paul on the show! It seems you may have been responsible for the catalyst that could get Ron on the Daily Show. GOOD FUCKING WORK SIR. I still hold that onthos's mom was the worst plug ever.
The Daily Show now owes it to Ron Paul to invite him on the show. I know they are a comedy show but they made the accusation that every republican canidate but McCain was protorture
Depends on your state. In the majority of states, yeah, you must be registered to the party whose Primary you're voting in, so to vote in the Republican primary and thus to vote for Ron Paul in the Republican primary, you do...in most states. I'd look it up for yours, you may not need to be, but most do.
in most states you have to be republican to vote for a republican in the Primaries... but just because you may not be republican does not mean you have to vote your party lines come the General election
The Ron Paul revolution started in the middle of last week and I just knew that it would start to explode this weekend when people had more time to sit down at their computers. I just want to get Ron Paul more exposure in the media so he can present his ideas just like any other candidate.
Lets all get him on the Daily Show, Larry King, etc. E-mail mainstream media outlets and (politely) tell them you want to hear from Ron Paul!
Look at all the idiots that ignore what Ron Paul is saying? I don't know, what do you think? Wierd!

Economic events like the industrial revolution can only take place in a productive economy with savings to drive investment.
When the fed prints money, it steals productive effort and destroys the savings necessary for economic growth.
Hence, the reason you don't see anything like that occurring, is that savings are being destroyed. As a result, the economy contracts.
Unfortunately teaching economics via youtube is difficult. I'd suggest reading Rothbard or Hayek.

1. Ron Paul doesn't go the gym. He stays fit by exercising his civil rights.
2. Ron Paul delivers babies without his hands. He simply reads them the Bill of Rights and they crawl out in anticipation of freedom.
3. Ron Paul doesn't cut taxes. He kills them with his bare hands.
4. Jesus wears a wristband that says "What Would Ron Paul Do?"

God you people are stupid.Ron pauls policies would condemn poor people in America to complete poverty and lets big businesses do what they like regulation free.He would equal double the amount of poverty and a 100 enrons.
liiiighthouse 4 years ago
You're confusing the free market with corporatism or "crony capitalism". This isn't just Ron Paul and his band of libertarians saying this either. Anyone who's educating on the matter (e.g. leftists Naomi Wolf and Dennis Kucinich) will tell you Enron or Halliburton are not examples of the free market.
Before calling people stupid, pick up a book/newspaper and get learned.

predestinados 4 years ago
WTF!
mrCool706 4 years ago
Paul's no isolationist. Do you think that by withdrawing armed forces from a country, you isolate yourself from it?
He wants weapons to be accessible, true. As they are now, but they are to be accessible to the good guys, too. People nowadays have trouble protecting their own property. A madman can always fetch a gun and kill a bunch of people, but the airlines can't even put their armed guards on their planes.
Polytical 4 years ago 2
Yeah, uh... someone who supports "individual liberties" (aka a LIBERTARIAN) would be pro-choice all the way.

He is pro choice! As for abortion, I believe he is against it, because he know he has to get the jesus freaks vote to get elected. But he also said he is against the government deciding for you, so it would stay a personnal decision.

Articflame 4 years ago
If it came down to 2 for 2, Hillary tell's it like it is, and America could find some peace knowing we've got a serious, mature and kind hearted president with real experience that could make a difference. Like when her Husband was president. And if Ron Paul were president long ago America wouldn't have understood the meaning of freedom or what it meant, nor the importance there of, because the country would've never faught for it to begin with.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
Yea, you seem well informed... "Vote for Hillary Clinton because her last name is Clinton... Bill did alright, therefore Hillary will do alright." What a fallacy... First of all, "Didn't do too bad" is a relative statement. I don't want a president who simply "won't do too bad." Also, you must look at where are country is now (on all standpoints, including our civil liberties) in comparison to the past. American politics need a change, and Hillary Clinton is not the answer.
DDougan86 4 years ago
Alright, I think Clinton did a damn good job with what he had to work with at the time as any individual could accomplish and he's still going around, everyone has flaws and nobody's perfect so it's a waste of time picking flaws and takes alot more to run a country than being either soley a passive thinker or active one, there must be a balance.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
The only way i found out about Ron Pual in the beginning is because I got email spam loaded with Vote for Ron Paul garbage, I waved it off as nothing until I started recieving it everywhere online. Then when I did the research and listened to what the guy actually had to say via interviews I've come to the conclusion if he were president long ago the entire country would be barely functioning and not as communicative.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
Almost every major branch of law enforcement and country security would be gone, all the years hard work of those that passed long before, decades. Reduced military power and global presence, reduced programs, hindered communication between existing branches making it all unorganized and time intensive, it's going back to the dark ages. It's like he's just learning what the internet is. He's not totally with it to actually run the country when shit hits the fan.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
B.T.W., Hillary tells it like it is? I could quote several instances in the media that point out that this is not so. I'm curious what you are basing this on... Ron Paul has kept a steady voting record; in fact, his opinions remain 100% consistent in terms of our constitutional rights.
DDougan86 4 years ago
Hillary Got Shut up about her biggest project-health care while her boy was in office for one....Two, do you mean to say if Dr. Paul was president long ago we wouldn't know freedom because we wouldn't have to be fighting for it? What freedoms have you lost since all this Crap happend?
CDurkan 4 years ago
If he was president a when freedom was originally faught for America wouldn't know freedom because America wouldn't have had freedom because America wouldn't have faught to protect something the country and people truelly believed in. So that leads me to believe the president would've given up early on and just handed the country to a foreign government.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
What has been accuring (The implications of unconstitutional Laws) the educated Americans don't believe in it for one second! Knight are you willing to fight for your freedoms now? Look at Dr. Paul's Voting record...
He's Voted for American Freedoms and Rights since he's been in office.
CDurkan 4 years ago
I do it all the time, I'll probably tell message youtube to see about increasing the charactor limit so we don't have to keep making as many posts. Only since he's been in office? I just don't have confidence in him running the whole country at this point, he's gaining some experience and changing his tone a bit so it's better late than never.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
But if he still believe's in getting rid of the main government branches that people elect and oversee security inside and abroad and eliminating free trade with other countries and hunkering down in the US and putting walls and boundaries to keep everyone else out and only looking withing the box that's not good because it's ignoring global issue's that affect people here at home.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
Alot of technology and products like electronics and other goods that come from foreign locations may be affected by eliminating trade and communication dialog with other countries between people. And does he believe in NWO? If he does then dunno why he's wanting to become president if he believes the entire government system is a sham or propegation unless he wants to clean house.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
That's not to say the whitehouse would fall apart if he lived there, but the toilet's might be backed up by the time he moved. And all the internet spam under his name might have put him on TV and gotten notice, the younger audience is targetted. Rudy is realistic but maybe way too head strong at times.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
Ron Paul seems to be in another world, at times somewhat lost so it's a bit chaotic. he'd probably disable the government to the point it'd handicap people to where if you needed something done there'd be nobody to go to for anything. Like a house that sit's and fall's apart without anything solid established to work on it to keep it up.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
A Mechanic to fix things. But the only one out of any of those that has the experience and would probably act on what they say or atleast try too would be Hillary. Clinton didn't do too bad and it's his wife this time, Hillary seems like a responsible woman and it'd be a change to see like in other countries how a woman handles the US. John Edwards is ok but he's got wife that needs him at her side. Barrack, I just don't believe him he originally believed in what he was saying at first.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
It has become so clear that Obama and Clinton would just keep on spending the borrowed trillions. Ron Paul is the only candidate I have studied (have you read every democratic and republican website? At least their "issues" lists? I have) who has been consistent in voting for smaller government and reduced spending throughout his political career. Please take ten minutes, if not one hour to find out more about Ron Paul before deciding. Ron Paul is President of the United States for me.

Of all the republican candidates, Ron Paul seems to be the most reasonable. But WTF, reintroducing the gold standard? That's the most stupid idea anyone has come up with in a long while.
lexagon 4 years ago
Honestly I used to think so too until I read more about it. Alan Greenspan always advocated a gold standard and wrote a great essay on it. Also, Ron would be realistic and would simply legalize the printing of gold and silver certificates in competition with the non-commodity backed currency we currently use. Thus people would have a choice between greenbacks, and gold/silver certificates similar to the time of the Anti-gold futures act of 1864.
schulwitz 4 years ago
Doesn't sound very important.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
I second that, it's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
KnightChatX 4 years ago
LOL, instead of saying "that's stupid". Why not try engaging in an intellectual conversation and present an actual rebuttal to my argument or Alan Greenspan's essay?
schulwitz 4 years ago

Oh and the main reason most people are voting for Ron Paul is because he wants to do away with the federal reserve.
snipboy 4 years ago
I don't think people are voting for Ron Paul primarily on the Fed issue, because most people don't know what the Fed is or does. I think it's his Iraq/Tax/Free Market/Liberty stance that attracts people. However, I do agree that one of Ron Paul's primary reasons for running is to abolish the Fed.

LMFAO ... calling CNN, and MSNBC news is already a stretch, but when you threw Fox in there you totally lost all credibility. If you're not aware that most media outlets are owned by 1 of 8 corporations, and have a corporate duty to make the most money for its shareholders, then you're in the dark. TDS isn't perfect, but its eons better than the other filth you listed. Educate yourself with CSPAN and the internet people!
