i went to wher it was filmed the other day and i was doing the sound that rover made and my mom was soo scared!!!!!

the prisoner was filmed in Portmerion, Wales

I was recently watching "Don't Knock Yourself Out", the great documentary that is part of the 40th aniv DVD collection. And I got a great kick out of Bernie Williams discussing this in it. There is a sequence where he is talking and it goes something like this:

"So I said Pat, what is Rover? And Pat said well Rover can climb walls, go out over the ocean, it can go over everything! And I said "Pat, I don't know WHAT THAT IS"
