That was great how fast you did that, It takes me awile, but I just got a tip I did not even know was there and it was so easy to do. I am learning this program I love it. I just picked up something so obvious I am embarrased. Thank You Laurie
man i have this but i can never use it because i dont kno the serial number ive tried everything but i dont kno it can someone tell me how to get a serial number please!
Another way to keep out partial erase dots. is just erase around the image (Use background eraser tool if you want) and then freehand select thru the center of erased area and once circled click and cick float this moves selection to the floated image then copy and paste as new layer on your background. Like in my video tutorial.
Why not use the BACKGROUND eraser tool or the freehand selection tool(selection type: Point to point)? That's what I use. and provides a much better result! I promise.
any easier way to do what Crunk?... thnanks RFfan... for replying but even though I have been trying and reading the BOOK it still seems to be unclear how to remove all the little bits in remove background? if i get close ot heedge of whatever I'm keeping it takes that edge away too and I have to keep restting it and never get anywhere?????
RF fanmusiciann18 - You are so kind to explain this!!! :) I wish I could ask you more questions as there are too many things I don't understand and this makes me unhappy I love the programme but am finding it so difficult, how did you learn all all the things.....
I just watched tutorials and got used to it xD but after my trial ran out i had to get photoshop for free because i cant afford either right now and i was sooooooooooo frustrated with it. I thought then that i wanted to be a graphic designer so i didnt give up with it, soooo all i gotta say is Dont give up with it and just watch alot of tutorials on how to do stuff ask questions if you need to on yahoo answers xD
I am having trouble too... anybody out there able to explain slowly how to remove the background when I use the tool it erases it but its very very slow and the little horrible bits are left its not totally clear? Also how do merge two pics say I want to have some faded flowers in the sky etc what do I use in Paint shop pro2x to get that effect.. PLEASE HELP me - thank you *
You could Erase everything you can with the background Eraser then use the magic wand to get rid of all the little bits and pieces.Or You Can Invert the picture after you erased the BG to see where the spots that are left over are. Like invert then undo and erase where ever the spots were.
For your second question you copy the flowers and paste it as a new layer and put it on top of the original layer were ever you want then lower the opacity So it wont fully be showed and will be faded
I'm having so much trouble with mine. It won't let me erase the background completely- It always makes it a colour and I can't figure out what's wrong.
Terrible tutorial

I am a X3 newbie who was in search of how to save foreground images when using the Background Eraser Tool. Your tutorial answers it with .png.

This is a very noobish way to remove the background. Use the magic wand with feather at 1.

Did you save it as a png. File?
RFfanmusician18 3 years ago
Lol, you could magic wand it. Allthough he's wearing some black so that would be difficult.
