  • Stand 2 close n u'll get hit.

  • if you think this clip is something, keyword Sammy Davis Jr. Boogie Woogie and watch sammy get down to some real "break dancin'" floor rock at 2:05. i used to think he was just another lame old school vegas rat pack singer as a kid, but after seeing how he got down for real back in the day, he's a B boy hero to me now

  • That was dope!

  • great, but where's the original (swing track?)

  • WHO THIS GUYS? DOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • B-Boyin has it's origins in early African-American dances. Watch Sammy davis Jr. and other tap dancers do all kinds of floor moves back in the 1930's. The moonwalk derived from an old tapdancing step called the apple jack. James Brown took some of these moves and added his own stuff and that influenced B-Boyz big time.

  • yessssssss

  • Cracking video - works so well together... And what you're looking at is where the BBoy came from - Charleston, Lindy Hop etc is the origins of Popping and Locking and all that cool street stuff you see now. Its all awesome.

  • LMAO. the 1st dude was getting his crip-walk on.that's who realy started that. HA HA HA HA HA

  • yeah son thats that magic right there, next stop New York

  • Sooooo DOPE.

  • freakin' HYSTERICAL watchin' homeboys top rockin' in the 50s! where on earth did you find that?

back in the day, sammy davis jr. used to break it up too.

  • @djgambitron It's just a small sample of very popular jazz dance steps done for decades by hundreds and thousands of dancers. Al & Leon which we see here kept the tradition alive in the 50s through to the 80s. They were not the only ones. Know your roots! This kind of dance is discovered again by today's swing dance scene.

  • Is that almost slo-mo I see at the end?!

  • Word.

  • great video! loved it

  • Hey! Re-do this video and move that URL advert.

It is right over their feet!

Other than that I liked it.

  • Fact: Your grand parents were cooler than you will ever be!

  • next thing you'll try to say is my grandparents partied and had sex!

  • Comment removed

  • L'uprock, danse originaire du Bronx à caractère martial, peut aussi être effectué à la place du toprock.

  • They ended up vogue-ing there in the last bit, and a quick flash of some sexually suggestive stuff. Figures these guys would be gay, hardly surprising.

  • Not nearly as good as Daft Punk Charleston.

    Soo much awesome.

  • what song is this

  • wow what a great job of matching music to the video. AWESOME

  • its like "grazylegs" moves =)

  • This looks like gettin lite too. It's crazy how the roots transcend through the decades

  • hardstyler.... u mean shufflers

  • jajajajaja esta muy bueno!!!

  • exellent!

  • my god! these guys so amazing!... love them. ^^

  • is it just me or the first guy did the worlds first c-walk?

  • @djenglewood It's by far not the first c-walk. Steps like this are documented to be done since the early 1920s and most likely much earlier. If you know Charleston, you can do c-walk.

  • @answerhere i know that what im sayin is people borrowed moves like this then years and years later the showed up in stuff like c waikin

  • Gettin loose with it! Thats the charlie rock yo!

  • Wyylldd!

  • im a music purist & really dont like this tune BUT ithis works, excellent job that man!

  • fantastic mix!!!

  • Where is this footage from.

  • cant see their feet!

  • i am not racist for sure ,i must say that black people are better dancers than white guys...love this video<3

  • lol, there are some pretty awesome white dancers though.

  • Absolutely marvelous. Cats can move! And as usual not nearly getting enough "remember when" recognition on tv, movies, etc... young talent always think they invented it.

  • why aren't the white people dancing? i'm sure they have just as much rhythm as the black guys lol

  • what is this song called? i MUST know!

  • Its called " All About The Music "

by Z - Trip feat. Whipper Whip

  • remindeds of strutting near 2 the end when the guy is doing poses close too the end of the vid, also the first steps remind me of frosty freeze R.I.P FROSTY FREEZE

  • it even looked a bit like ticking near the end. in begining when the first guys dancing reminded of frosty freeze so much

  • ps. the 3 swingbrain solo charleston cdrs (basic, vocab A and B) teach about 90 charleston moves.

  • if you want to cop these moves, i highly recommend swingbrain 1920s solo charleston cdrs . nice tutorials for swing dancers but top rockers can expand their vocab too. (many american street dances have roots in charleston. cwalk, house, toprock, scarecrow etc)

  • Sorry, I meant that the logo part was fail. Otherwise, this vid is EPIC WIN.

  • This would be awesome if that damn link wasn't there. FAIL

  • these guys are the business, and the music compliments there moves so well, great vid and good track,

  • Don´t you ever get lost, drifting about on YouTube? I often do, and on that account, I devour tons of random - mostly crappy - videos. This was, by far, the video of the day.

THIS shit, is THE shit! ^^

  • the link dancestory....i cant get it....error 404...???

  • Damn logo is in the way!!!!

  • og crack heads

  • what s he name of the song...please tell me

  • DJ Z-trip - All about the music

  • thax

  • ahahah fantatico! lol

  • reel cool

  • reel cool

  • Reel Cool

  • the first dude looks like Stanley from The Office

  • great moves, love the style, oh and next time move the URL ad to a place where it doesn't cover the footwork.

  • Very nicely done. Funny in places when the music matches a switch-up, 5/5.

UK peeps, BBC1 TV just showed a dance program feat bits from London Jazz Dance scene, called "Bruce Goes Dancing" w/Bruce Forsyth (yes, Brucie baby: proper oldskool, he got to dance with Sammy Davis Jr back in the day!) at 3:55pm Sun.11.Oct.2009 (this 2nd of 2 ep's in series, on Cuban/Puerto Rico influences in dance).

Worth a look. Props to Brucie bringing mainstream light to the modern UK J-D scene around since 1970s.

  • check out my vid of "Paulo Nutini new release pencil full of lead with Al Minns and Leon James dancing"

  • they cooked dis jawn :)
