"The ICC is not playing fair." That's the argument I keep hearing, and it's depressing as hell. Refugees have the chance to be given justice, but are denied because apparently holding a man accountable for 200,000 to 400,000 murders from violence, rape, and starvation isn't playing fair. It's "too political". If the West is just as guilty for war crimes like this, then how does it make what al-Bashir is doing right or okay? Apparently no one is accountable; what a world we live in.

Nobody is saying that al-Bashir is a great leader or innocent for that matter! But there was alot of progress going on in that region even the NGO's stated so. Furthermore, for the ICC to go after a current president it seems far too much, not because he was responsible for the death of 200,000-400,000 people, but merely because he refused to hand over a high gov. official. I personally think that if al-Bashir is to be prosecuted he shall be so in the courts of Sudan. That makes more sense!
