  • Thank you soooo much for posting this! I LOVE the Olay Moisturizer. I've been looking for a good moisturizer for my acne-prone oily skin and this works so well. I would have never bought it if I didn't see this video. :D

  • Hope you are doing well. Revlon has launched a foundation for oily skin, but it is only selling in Aussie and New Zealand now for trial. It is much better the Colourstay and very light weighed. It didn't break me out and make my face stay matte for a long time. You will love it!

  • oh my gosh my skin needed this video....thanks sooo much.im gonna go put a mask of moisturizer on my face ;)

  • was it named seborrheic dermatitis?

  • On which locations did you have the flakes normally on your face? are they 100% gone?

  • It seems like we have similiar skin types. I recently started mixing my Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation with my Neutrogena Moisturizer and it looks SO MUCH BETTER than if applied separately. I wish someone had told me this years ago.

  • @Angelweengz1 thnx for the info! I went to cvs after reading ur comment and bought 4 of em!!!!

  • Hey I found that moisturizer on sale at CVS for $3.99!!!! And I had a $2 off manufacturers coupon too. Woot woot!!

  • And what's the full name of the serum? Thanks :)

  • What is the one in the tub called?

  • I am sooo hesitant to try another Olay product. I had used the total effects moisturizer and it gave me the most horrible cystic acne that took forever to go away and left marks. I do need a good moisturizer this winter though (usually I just rub jojoba oil in, but it's not enough over winter) so I'll have a look at that.

  • hi pls mention the names in the description cudnt get it

  • omg i went and got this and love it tanx ps love the smell :)

  • Thank you so much for the tip. The cream wasn't expensive so I thought I'd give it a try. I haven't used facecream in 3 years because in the end it always breaks me out. This hasn't so far and my skin finaly feels soft (and yes) flake free. Three hurrays for you and Olaz!

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! I have 2 huge cystic pimples on my face. I've been steaming them for days and still no head just huge bumps. Any advice I would greatly appreciate.

  • Hi Aimee,

I bought the Olay regenerist serum today - and when I went back to review your video again I realized I bought the Olay Regenerist regenerating serum - not the daily regenerating serum - do you know if there's a difference?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for replying back and for the tips! :)

  • Hi do you think it is also good for summer/humid weather? Also if you feel tight or dry in winter, I have tried using oatmeal to cleanse your face. It sounds crazy but I tried it for 2 ,3 weeks now and all the flakey skin on my nose has gone after cleansing it once or twice. When I checked Internet there are so many people raving about it! Oh, will you show us your baby tummy :-)

  • Hi do you think it is also good for summer? Also if you hav

  • i love love love "old school" Oil Of Olay too ! I have combo skin & it's acne prone and it works great for me too :)

  • ooo, that olay breaks me out. i wouldn't recommend products with mineral oil in it because that tends to break people out. if you look at the olay bottle mineral oil is one of the first ingredients.

  • @Lumanette09 These two products don't contain any mineral oil, it breaks me out as well. You may be thinking of the liquid version of the cream I use, they make the two different formulas and the liquid does have it.

  • I use that same moisturizer and I also have very sensitive skin - no breakouts and tons of hydration! agreed!

  • i've always loved olay skin care. does the almay TLC have good coverage? or is it pretty light? will it cover redness?

  • @arsc311 It has great coverage, it will definitely cover redness. I started using it back when my acne scarring was still really bad and it provided enough coverage then.

  • Hi Glitzy...since your last post about your skincare, I'm on the bandwagon with you as far as trying new products! The olive oil and grease lighting has changed my skin life! Lol! I just purchased the hydrating cream and I wanna give the serum a try next but I use a powder foundation instead of a liquid one! Do you recommend still using the serum or just sticking with the cream? And what liquid foundation and sunscreen do you use that's good for acne prone skin?

  • @GlitterallyPINK I'd skip the serum with powder foundation. I didn't notice the same kind of results when I applied it first and then foundation over it, there is something special that happens when it's actually mixed in. I love Almay TLC for acne prone skin. It covers well, long wearing so oily skin won't break it down during the day, it won't break you out and it contains lemon and other ingredients to help fade acne scars. Make sure to remove it with the oil though since it's long wearing.

  • @GlitterallyPINK Sorry, ran out of text room. =) I haven't found a sunscreen that I'm completely happy with and feel comfortable recommending for other acne prone people. I can recommend using only those that contain physical sunscreen though because the chemical ones create chaos if your acne prone. I used Clinique City Block Sheer last summer and it was the best that I'd found so far, but there has to be something better out there that I haven't stumbled onto yet.

  • Olay used to make the Active Hydrating Cream for sensitive skin. They discontinued the product over the last two years.

  • Thank god! Someone finally made a video that seems to have the same exact skin and skin issues that I have! Thanks so much for the tips on how to deal with these issues! I'm definitely going to try this out because the dry spots are so aggravating!

  • OMG Aimme!!!! So I tried the application the exact way you showed with the Olay active hydrating first and mixing the Olay Regenerist regenerating serum in with my foundation (Covergirl natureluxe) and my skin serious looks better than it EVER has!!! Thank you thank you thank you for discovering this and sharing it with all of us because I wouldhave NEVER thought to do this on my own! I seriously do not have to use conceler to cover blemish scares at all it's just like I have perfect skin! <3 U!

  • @niekobluejess Yay, it makes me incredibly happy that it works so well for you too! It's like it creates some kind of skin magic lol. I've tried all kind of primers and things that are suppose to make this happen but never had anything actually do it until now. =)

  • Liked the sound of your review for Olay active hydrating cream but it has been replaced here in UK by different Olay ranges and wondered if you could recommend which would be suitable Olay alternative. Dont have acne but although I am an older lady I still have oily skin. Love your videos and congrats on your pregnancy.

  • are you still using LUSH products?

  • @iloveshoes1111 Their Fresh Farmacy cleanser, Grease Lightning as a spot treatment, and Tea Tree Water as toner. Olive oil nightly before the FF to remove face makeup if I'm wearing it, but I still do it even if I don't have makeup on to just deep cleanse.

  • just had to say you are awesome you get to the point and answer every question that is in my head as you are talking love you!

  • I loved that moisturizer too but the scent was a deal breaker.

  • what if this moisturizer is gonna ruined your skin??...

  • yayy! Thank you! My skin has been a nightmare since the temperature has dropped. I can't wait to try these :]

  • Thankyou ! i really want to try this

  • So since the moisturizer absorbs so quickly should you still wait 20 minutes before applying your foundation?

  • @niekobluejess Oh heck no, I only wait a couple of minutes.

  • I looove your verbage: 'I had my skin at a nice hydration level' haha I love it!!! I just picked up a new moisturizer (Neutrogena for combo skin) but I am still looking to get a deep hydration. YAY for this video! I benefited from your Lush Grease Lightning recommendation, I hope this works for me too! Goodbye, flakies!

  • Well your skin really does lookgreat, btw!! Glowy and soft! I love Olay too. I just have the original beauty fluid and it does work great! I'm gonna try the serum now too!! Thank you! Idon't have acne prone skin but my face gets oily!! Thank you so much!!!

  • Funny thing : my boyfriend use the pink Olay cream and i swear he smells like grandma whenever he uses it lol

  • The Olay active hydrating fluid, which comes in a bottle and is a little cheaper, works great too. I've been using it for 2 years and have the same skin type.

  • Hey why don't you try a sensetive version of original play cream' but even better the best thing i sued and keep on using for couplle of months now is olay beauty fluid for sensitive skin. truly the best thign ever it feels as if your skin had a drink of water not greasy just smooth and so refreshing i even use it on dekolt eor somewhere after shaving etc if my skin gets irritadet. Anyway i really recommend the eauty fluid the ebst thing i ever tryed even from high end.

  • Thanks for the recommendation!! As someone with acne-prone skin I appreciate recommendations for makeup and skincare products that make my skin look better. Can't wait to try out both products!

  • Can it be that because you're pregnant your skin is changing too? I would love to buy these cheaper products and have them work for me too but my skin is super sensitive and only agrees with Bare Minerals combo skin moisturizer which cost over 500SEK here and I don't want to pay that every other month. Will have to try Olay!

  • @BeckaOfSweden I was using these before I got pregnant and was still experiencing the fab results.

  • @glintzy Ahh good to know :)

  • @BeckaOfSweden

    It's a lot cheaper on FeelUnique. :)

  • @Paradigm715 Thanks for the tip! Wow, the prices are great there! Thanks again :)

  • if you love this one, you should try the Olaz Complete for sensitive skin! If pretty simular to this one, but has spf15, anti-aging vitamins and i think the sensitive one doesn't have perfume in it! I've been using it for years on my acne prone skin and love it!! My skin always calms down when i use it.

  • I use Olay products and I buy mine at Dollar General Store.

  • do you have something that would lighten scaring from acne? i have horrible scars on my face and my back from it all and i was wondering if there's a product out there which could help :)

  • @GurenstoneGod try avon anew retexturizing pads. Good time to buy. I just stocked up. $15 per jar (2month supply) Check out the reviews online. Highly recommended for acne prone and scared skin. xo

  • @sullify thanks for the heads up, but i live in the UK now and i dont know whether they have them here, but i will take a look around. thanks for the reply :3

  • @GurenstoneGod There is a product called the Whitening Mask by Mario Badescu, it doesn't make you white lol It fades acne scars really nicely. It really is an amazing product, it faded the scarring that i had incredibly! :] Another thing is that it has a scent, i personally like the scent, its kind of fruity almost smells like sweet tarts haha :P But if you're sensitive to scents it might be too much. Other than that it really was a miracle product for me, i hope that helped!

  • @TheCaptcrunk haha that sounds interesting i shall give it a go, and if its smells fruity then thats a plus too :P thanks for the hint :)

  • strangely enough I have normal to dry skin and that Olay moisturizer broke me out horribly bad. weird.

  • Why don't you just mix your foundation with the olay active hydrating cream? Might it have a similar effect as the serum? (as far as it looking more natural)

  • @albictm I've tried it, it was ok but didn't give me the same results as the serum did.

  • I need a good foundation. Any suggestions? Thanks

  • @theGreenteacup I really love Almay TLC foundation. It's long wearing so you're not going to sweat it off or have oily skin break it down, it offers nice coverage and feels good on my skin.

  • What eye cream do you use?? Thank you :)

  • Ive got acne prone & oily skin and i started using the olay hydrating cream one day just because it was cheap and i needed a moisturiser but it turned out to be SO amazing and i love it! Ill definately be getting more olay products soon!

  • So miss your videos girl! hope you pregnancy is going well! so happy for you <3 and you look so radiant and beautiful! <3 Danube

  • For people who are sensitive to mineral oil like myself this has it in it. Just FYI.

  • @sweetpimpin23 Neither product contains mineral oil. I can't use anything with it in it either.

  • Comment removed

  • @glintzy I see yes I looked it up and seen that. I actually seen though that the 2nd or 3rd ing. is petrolatum (petroleum jelly) whats your thoughts on this and acne. I am DYING to find a cure for my flakies and I have searched hundreds literally and every single one contains something.

  • @sweetpimpin23 Petrolatum is typically considered noncomedogenic and safe for acne prone skin. While everyone's skin is different, mine does very well with it and I don't experience breakouts from it.

  • @sweetpimpin23 I just figured out what you're thinking of. There are two versions of the Active Hydrating, there is the cream that I use but there is also a more liquid version that they call a fluid. The one I use doesn't have mineral oil, but the fluid version does.

  • can you type out the 2 products? its way too fast for me to catch the names.

    thanks!!

  • @xcarriecx Olay Active Hydrating Cream and the Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum Fragrance Free

  • Great info! I am going and getting them both tomorrow. My skin is totally acne prone & flaky!

  • What foundation are you using?

  • @makeupluv26 Still using and loving Almay TLC. It's not the bottle I held up, that one just happened to be close and easy to grab.

  • Going to try this soon! I use the olay moisturizer in the white bottle and its not cutting it for me during the colder months.

  • Any sunscreens that work for u? Im also very acne prone

  • @aremylipsshiny Hey I have the same skin type as you. Mac prep and prime face protect spf50 is an amazing primer.

  • @aremylipsshiny I have very acne prone skin to and someone suggested the jafra 40 sunscreen. I read the list and thought, no way this will work. But the woman said please try and i gave it a go.. and wowie.. my skin handled great, i still use it..

She advised me to use it for one week only on my jaw line and after that week, i had to add it around my nose and around my mouth and now i can handle it on my whole face.. weird.. haha she had a theory though but too much to write here, hope it works

  • I've been using the same moisterizer and I have extremely oily skin and so far it the best one by far and its affordable.

  • Is this recommended for teenagers?

  • @fancycookie69 absolutely

  • Is this recommended for teenagers also?

  • Yes keep an eye out for the sensitive skin formula, same kinda tub container. Or Try the Cerave Moisterizing cream and\or lotion (drugstrore). Derm. Recommended. Not scented verrrrryyyyy moisterizing. The lotion sinks right in and is kind of a gel feel. Where as the cram is heavier but sinks in and has absolutly no greasy feel. And im very picky about the feel and the way my makeup goes on with moisterizer. Im very acne prone oily and sensitive. Give it a try :)

  • Olay has some of the best products. Great vid. I'm going to the drugstore asap :o)

  • All this cold weather is drying out my skin like no other. I'm definitely going to go check out these products because my current moisturizer doesn't seem to be cutting it.

  • I get so excited to see new videos from you in my sub box!!!

  • farther along in your pregnancy you may notice that your skin is dewy because of all of the hormones =)

  • is that good for teenagers?..bcuz it may ruined your skin by the time u get older?!...

  • @lalagirl211 a moisturizer shouldn't ruin your skin, the best way to do that is use too much chemical exfoliant or too rough of one or harsh anti acne which can cause thinning of the skin prematurely.

  • It's funny watching this cus I have the same skin problems as you. I couldn't agree more it's great, also try the anti aging it's pretty much the same but with a little more moisture. It smells like old lady though!

  • can you do an update on your skin for the winter months and/or acne routine

  • So glad you did this video. I have such oily skin and have a hard time finding a moisturizer that I like. I think I will go try this when I run out. :) But do you think the Olay moisturizer would work year round or just in the winter for really dry skin?

  • @ValianGinaur I think the cream will work year round, it's moisturizing enough for me now but never feels heavy even if I accidentally get too much.

  • They actually make the olay moisturizer in a sensitive skin formula which has no fragrance. That's what I use and I agree it's so moisturizing and has never broken me out!

  • @purplerain400 I didn't see the sensitive formula at my store, I'll definitely keep an eye out for it though. Thanks!

  • @glintzy The olay products break me out :/ and I have really sensitive skin. It's a pain trying to find something that helps and doesn't break me out! Thanks for the video!

  • the Olay moisturizer is the only one I can use! My skin hates everything else lol

  • @glintzy U LOOK FAB!!!....do u know of any drugstore moisturizer that makes ur skin look hydrated/dewy on its own on bare skin?? PLZZZ REPLY BACK

  • I tried the Olay active hydrating beauty fluid and it broke me out. I might try this. hmm.

  • Will definitely check this out! I agree with you on the Clinique Gel. While I love it, if I use it when my skin is not being good at the moment, it seems to make it worse - if that makes sense lol. I do love the way it feels on, though. My HG moisturizer that I seem to always come back to is the Clean & Clear Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer. It's awesome. Just curious - what made you try the Olay? Thanks for posting and so glad you're back! :)

  • I'm so happy to see you back in my subscription feed ^_^

  • I tried the serum and I didn't like it at all.

BTW it's MUCH cheaper from Amazon than the drugstore.

  • I use jojoba oil for moisturiser! It's awesome! I'm glad u found something that works for u in the winter months :)
