Gorgeous sound. I am a Guitar player and I am still attracted to steel. This looks like a very difficult instrument to learn. I still consider acquiring one, but I have this reserve about the time to invest in it. Would you go with one or two necks?
The steel guitar player in our band plays with two necks...One neck is usually a C-6th tuning and the other is an E-9th tuning. If you play swing or jazz or rock...yeah, you need the two necks.
Great job Mike...That C-6th neck sure is sounding Pretty...You make me jealous, because I sold my Zum D-10 Hybrid...Guess I'll just have to get those sounds out of my E-9th Neck...Take care and "Keep on Pickin"...Your Texas Friend...Brian
Good job Mike. I love C6th and big band music, so you hit it twice. Your BIAB sounds really nice. What style are you using? Keep up the good work. Larry
Thanks Larry, I'm running my laptop with BIAB through my Nashville 112 and playing the steel through a Nashville 400. The style I used on that song was Bossa (Bossanova). I swith it over sometimes with that song to swing and it sounds pretty good, too. Just a little different.
smooth, very smooth
