There would be no Donovan as we know him without Dylan, and this song is the best example. It's a great song, but it's certainly a Dylan-inspired one. And Dylan most definitely could sing...he had and has one of the most expressive voices ever. It may not be classically pretty, but so what?

I so love this song...it came out when I was 16...way back when. Now when I listen to it I think of my beautiful grandson who died at 16 last May after a two year battle with cancer....miss you and love you so..it should be me who died, not you!
