For someone who has read the books I think tahr the choice for bill is horrible. I don't think he is hot at all and is not how I would have pictured him. I watched the series first and then read the books and was quickly disappointed that the bill the book describes is nothing like bill Compton in the series. Such a shame.

After all Sophia-Ann never sold V in the books, fairy blood wasn't vampire sunscreen and Bill didn't walk into the sun to save Sookie, and the Bill in the books quickly lost interest in Sookie to work on a project. The show and books are going to have the same themes but they aren't going to be the same.

I like her accent - I cant read the books without hearing that accent in my head lol. And Im glad things have been kept sorta the same in books and TV. I know its like 50/50 coz theres a lot of add ons and changes, but whats the same in both is really just word for word. And I like the changes they made! Bill and Sookie seem to connect much more on the TV than in the book, it's more romantic and believable and I get the feeling they will stray away from the book regarding their future together.
