i was amazed when i asked a guy about it and he said you CANT play sims on LAPTOP and your computer has to be less than 1 year old i mean come on.... i would have got it to prove him wrong but im .4 ghz off the required 2.4ghz processor speed

Awesome! It's a fantastic game. A lot of improvements from the Sims 2. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. (I am also waiting to get the actual game. Sometime tomorrow.)

Not right now. Who knows though, they might add an expansion or something later on.

This has improved graphics, but it doesn't seem like much. It should work.

I don't have a laptop, but I know Crtl+Shift+C is does open the command prompt. Motherlode is still the 50k simoleons.

Sorry I'll change that. And by painting do you mean the style/color? If so then yes. There is a drop down menu at the top if you look it will say (for example "Wood.") that can be changed to any texture in the game. Then that texture can have it's color changed to anything. You can sue the color wheel or a rbg code.
