  • dude you look stoned haha. you smoked a doobie before u made this didnt you? haha you got them low squinty eyes that look a little red haha wow. dont lie either man be honest.

  • This is another great video. Why aren't you a politician? Seriously, we need someone like you in office.

  • lol i like u made that video right before the financial collapse

  • thx for sharing

you said it took u 4 yrs to learn these, so were you in a university or some kinda institution?

  • You look pinned to that wall

  • All good information to know. Switching to oragnic was one of the best decisions I made, I noticed my overall health/mood/feeling improve in about a week. I feel sorry for the millions of older Americans who do not use the internet and get most of their information from their TV set. :o(

  • Yes I agree. Took me many many trips to the libary of congress and so many other places to find the truth.

  • just found you ---- thank God !!!!!!

  • Thank you, please keep the video's comming:)

  • Thank you for making these videos. I first found your videos while investigating the US economy months ago and you have introduced me to many other topics about healthy living and understanding how the world works. Most importantly though, you introduced me to Peak Oil and may have saved mine and many others lives now that I am preparing for post peak oil. I appreciate your common sense and that you are trying to inform others.

  • Thanks for an excellent video! I can't agree with you more about what we are doing to our food supply, mental, physical and mental health, etc... It seems like we are the worst and the most dangerous animal for our capacity to be utterly destructive. .. I liked all of your videos, but thought you are kind of a condesending person until watching this one. I've been wondering if you follow Buddhist practice.

  • found your channel through psychetruth. *subscribed. just saying hello and look forward to your videos and ones u already made. peace.

  • you should look into sikhism if you are interested in sprituality....

  • That's a good to-do list! I would put raising consciousness first, though. In my experience my entire existence improved after the experience of self-realization. I would urge everybody out there who is concerned about improving the quality of their life and of those around them to research different avenues to self-realization. This experience is not confined to esoteric circles anymore. Look into it and you will be blown away by the implications. Blessings, Loren and everybody.

  • Peak oil is a myth. Scarcity is the fear mongers tool. Fear being a form of negative manifestation. That being said, there are still alternatives, but those in power prefer to keep those alternatives from working. Peak oil is a myth.

  • Don't confuse information and observation to be fear mongering. Sometimes major change occurs- It's not about being scared- It's about understanding who to BE in response. It's also about gaining wisdom through dealing with the challenge.

Whether it's a myth or not is almost irrelevant. Seeking the truth is honorable.

  • Thanks for opening minds. Keep 'em coming. Please share more of what you know.

  • Agree 100% They don't want a society who can "Critically Think and Make Conscience Decisions".

  • I agree, it is the most significant media we have. thank you

  • Could you please in the future do a video on "natural diet".

    thanks

  • The value of oil at todays cheep/high prices is more valuable then oil of the future because alternatives will be cheaper to produce in the future.

It is irresponsible to save oil for the future, as you will draw resources from the truly productive activates of today.

If people truly wanted to help a future energy problem, they should support advanced science. The government can not solve anything, only brilliant men with an honest need can do that.

  • your vids are much appreciated.

    Many thanks!

  • I agree with every point except peak oil. I look forward to your videos regarding preparing for financial chaos I want to get one point across to people there is a dark side to our future but there is also a bright side! The truth really will set you free. Get into health (David Wolfe) Freedom (Robert Menard) Truth (HRM) Truth is now is the most exciting time to be alive. We have the internet Access to Amazing foods Our Hearts and minds are ready to grow

  • Oil is a finite and very precious resource. Most US citizens are like spoiled children, they believe our planet is swimming in oil but the consumer party of 20. century cannot go on any longer now. The financial system and its industrial structures or consumer based life styles, will implode if the flow of energy from fossil fuels starts to diminish. Only some few generations could enjoy a highly powered consumer life. We have to go back to a much simpler life style now. The party is over...

  • Great, great, great! Tremendously helpful and I'm definitely looking forward to more. Thank you so much for sharing this informtion and for your willingness to help us all.

  • You're one of my subscriptions. Please keep the good information coming. Thanks.

  • I don't care about the lack of polish and glitz in your videos.

I tune in for the words and the message.

Personal ethics is the enemy of the world's vested interests.

I look forward to what you have to share on this vital and orphaned subject!

  • lorax i have been watching you for 1 year and i really want to see more economic and money videos !

especially regarding preperation & depression ...

  • most of your videos (lorax2013) are great, keep them coming.

  • I've been watching your videos for the better part of a year now and I try to share them as much as possible. I like how you encourage people to do research for themselves and not try to preach your opinion as the gospel. Keep up the good work!

  • Peak Oil is not real. Research that. Financial collapse is not always a forgone conclusion. The truth is we are under attack.

  • Its true, There is more oil on the planet than fresh water. The oil companies don't even have to look for it anymore. However peak oil is still a threat from the refinery perspective, in other words, the oil companies will limit supply.

  • Exactly the problem isn't that we are running out. The problem is that the oil cartels limit supply as a way of controlling us. In Fact there's evidence that oil is created from an on going geological process and is a renewable resource.

  • I agree, oil is a renewable resource. We will never run out of oil.

  • That's the silliest thing I've ever heard.

  • If it is a finite resource then the price should increase steadily as the resource become scarce. Dr. Leeb predicted, in his "The coming economic collapse", that oil would go up to 200 per barrel now its only 40/barrel. Why? If we are running out of oil, oil should be 200/b now not 40. Also, explain to the correlation between oil price and oil scarcity.

  • The price is about supply and demand. It's about the oil flow more than the actual resource base. Why is the price low? We are now producing more oil than ever in the history and the demand suddenly plummeted. It's very simple.

Price going down doesn't mean the resource is infinite. Oil went to 147 because the production couldn't be increased any more. That is one of the things that broke the world economy. When the next economic boom starts the price will go straight up there again, guaranteed

  • If oil is an irreplacible resource then even if the demand goes down the price should continue to go up but at a slower pace if the demand goes up then the price goes up at a faster rate because a barrel use is a barrel lost forever. And with India and China's large appetite for oil the price should have never come down. All I'm saying is maybe we don't have oil peak production but oil MANIPULATION!

  • No I'm sorry it doesn't work like that. When the demand dips there is a sudden oversupply of oil. The producers HAVE to sell it, even if it's at a bad price, because they have budgets, expenses. The money needs to keep flowing. The only thing they can try to do is cut production together.

Manipulation is possible, but only when the supply is tight. There is no limitless oil, where did you get that idea? That's a pretty astounding asumption. I hope it's not the abiotic oil idiocy.

  • If oil was in short supply then consumption would have a less and less affect on price so Moniequa dose have a valid point. But were not running out and prices are the result of market manipulation. In a free market the problem would be self solving as the price of oil increases to the price of alternative solutions, the alternative would naturally take over. Trying to force alternative to take over early is a simple waste of resources.

  • No he doesn't have a valid point. He's talking about short term price fluctuations, something I already adressed. On the long term, yes, oil will definitely be pricey even without signigicant economic growth.

There alternatives, but none of them are a match to crudes net energy return and the myriad of useful hydrocarbons we get out of it (plastics for example).

Perhaps there was some manipulation, but that's largely irrelevant. The main reason was that the supply WAS tight as hell.

  • OMG, Perhaps? The prduction of oil is controlled right from the start, the price has been controlled for most of the last century.

  • Of course. Price manipulation is part of the game, but as resources slowly become scarcer, the room for manouvering becomes smaller.

Listen, I want to make one point to a fellow like you : in order for peak oil not to be "true", oil would have to be infinite. Are you really suggesting that? Then I think you are nuts.

If you are saying that some countries have hidden reserves and they use it to manipulate the markets, that IS one possibility. But please keep your common sense with you.

  • For the purpose of todays prices, oil is essentially infinite, im sure you know that producing wells currently have enough oil for many decades.

OPEC has been controlling production/prices for a long time. The price is further controlled by governments who have been lobbied into the position that drilling for oil is bad for the environment. All of this is to the benefit of those who control production. The shortage of oil is a mind game and you seem determined to loose the game.

  • "..producing wells currently have enough oil for many decades"

At current levels? When hell freezes over. Some of them will be producing after 20 years, but most of them will be a shadow of their former self.

OPEC was producing at near max output when we had 147$ oil, no matter what their pr was. So was rest of the world.

The reason we fight wars over oil is because it's a finite and extremely valuable resource on which our modern civilization is built on.

You have lost the plot my friend.

  • Oil may not be a fossil fuel and evidence suggests its produced by natural geological forces. This I was told in college geology 20 years ago. If people are made to believe it is limited then its easier to take their money, that is for sure.

Oil prices today are not free market prices. As you can here in the nightly news oil production is controlled by a very few men. And in case you dont know history such monopoles are never honest.

  • Thank you. Commonsense is a rare commodity.

  • You're talking about exactly what I've been learning the last few years. My entire life I have eaten processed foods unaware of any consequence. I think that has fostered longterm depression and I haven't reached my intellectual potential as well. That might just be genetics but I plan to incorporate more whole and raw foods into my diet to see what changes it might bring about. Thanks for being another one spreading the good word.. someone has to :)

  • Hey very cool! I'll stick this video in my channel unedited to help you promote your channel if you like.

  • That would be great, thanks for your support again Mike. I just sent you a personal message about it.

  • Ethics also allow one to have guidance when the rules are not clear or conflicting. As they say, one must not only follow the letter of the Law (or religion, or whatever code), one has to be congruent with the spirit behind it too.

  • Awesome video, as usual.

  • I'm 17 and I feel lucky to be alive and conscious at this age of internet and free knowledge, I'd know very little of any importance without it.

    So, thank-you for your videos!

  • Personally I am more unsure today of where society is headed than I was before I spent nearly a year researching all of the possibilities on the internet.

But I will share these meager insights.

-Society is changing more rapidly than ever (driven by technology).

-Technology will continue its exponential growth, barring Armageddon.

-The dollar could potentially be destroyed due to worldwide imbalances.

    - Technology will continue to cause real wage deflation regardless.

  • Great video lorax

  • Yeah a physiological and neurological sense of well being rather than being in cloud cuckoo land with the fairies.

Living authentically hurts at first just like waking up in the mornings. Maybe you said this already in one of your vids....oh well repetitionis good, as almost nothing but pain, or imediate extinction is enough to wake the majority up.

"No man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of your knowledge." - Kahlil Gibran

    Peace G

  • Always a pleasure to watch your videos.

  • Looking forward to the Peak Oil videos. Do you think there will be a solution found to Peak Oil such as reducing engine size, using algae, hydrogen and electric? I'm convinced we can get enough efficiency built in at the start to permit us to use very energy inputs on the way. I've a 42 mpg car and it's eleven years old and I'll make it last for another 4 or 5. That's us Europeans though - the US is different.

Your videos are excellent -really top class. Please don't stop making them.

  • Good video Loren! Couldn't agree with you more about the whole medical establishment/ Economic/ Peak oil issue whether engineered or not, it is coming. (somethings gotta give) Anyways, if a person can take control of their health, than they are at a great advantage..

  • Between Loren and Monica we are blessed to view points of interest in both Ethics and Health. Thank you very much, both of you.

  • Who are Lauren and Monica? Since you mentioned Ethics and Health... I might want to check them out.

  • Loren is this channel lorax2013 and Monica is HomesteadProvocateur. Seeing is the best path to believing.

  • Thank you!

  • thank you, looking forward to your coming videos

  • I love your videos, you have opened our eyes to many topics which all tie in together...Would love to hear more! You're awesome.

  • Thanks for all the videos Loren. Without all the information, and everything I've been able to learn from the internet, I know I would be completely lost in life.

  • I'd love to buy your book. Only, I can't find it.

  • You can click on the webpage link listed on the Lorax2013 main channel page.

Or you can go to the "LULU" book publisher website and search "the real story of money health and religion"

  • what an excellent video thanks

  • i love your work...eating healthy feels so good!!!!

  • Loren you right about the internet part and learning. I have learnt so much from the internet. Information that would never have been available from the mass media ect. Because of what I have learnt I have a much more positive outlook on life.

  • I noticed recently that Israel has the highest average life expectency in the world. I suspect this could be due to eating Kosher. What is your view on this?

  • I'm interested in knowing the source of your data?I'll be honest with you-I'm very sceptical that Israel has the world's highest life expectancy.

  • I can't remember where I saw that. I just had a look at the UN document entitled "World Population Prospects 2006 Revision". It ranks Israel quite highly On this document Israel is ranked in 8th place with a life expectancy of 80.7 years. It's on page 97 of the document. These are the top 10... 1. Japan 82.6 2. China, Hong Kong SAR 82.2 3. Iceland 81.8 4. Switzerland 81.7 5. Australia 81.2 6. Spain 80.9 7. Sweden 80.9 8. Israel 80.7 9. China, Macao SAR 80.7 10. France 80.7
