  • that was not a tpac but sud have been done ages ago nice driving mr pc.

  • The funny part is that UK police can't do what our US police forces can because their Volvos are "too expensive too damage"

  • GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN TO PLAY AGAIN

  • Poderiam ter feito o fecha bem no começo!

  • "The dog unit's are not suited for Car chases" Well shit, I thought you could send the dogs after the car and just Kick back.....

  • 'The dog unit is not suited for a car chase' no shit:L

  • No risk of tree or street furnature damage... Are you kidding me!?

  • Wrong side of the road? Bitch that's the RIGHT side.

  • @asecretninja They drive on the left side over there.

  • @ALibertarianCitizen IIIII KKKKKKNNNOOOOOWWWWWWW -_____________- THATS THE JOKE.

  • in the US kicks sticks and tazers are standard use after the suspect is down. ;)

  • i didn't see a fail. That was a perfect pit maneuver

  • Lol "ramming the car for a second time" there was no ramming involved. "high speed chase through residential area? Reports said he was going 50 tops. Leave it to media to over dramatacize

  • HOW THE FUCK DO THEY SOUND AMERICAN? AND WHEN THE FUCK IS SUSSEX AMERICAN. Fuck me...

  • @ my previous - I know it's obviously not in the US. It's in England - but still. They use KM/H not MP/H.

  • Mennnnnnn Fuck tha Police !!!!!!!

  • Kinda weird to see a police chase end with no one pointing a gun at the offender.

  • @er6t British police don't need guns. They are better skilled.

  • I'm amazed that the cops weren't fat! oh wait this isn't the US...

  • @megaflyer99 didn't you notice that there were no kicks, sticks and tazers?

  • @Sxxplicit I'm lost and bewildered... the joke I'll probably understand in a few minutes, but for now, I dunno.

  • I think he is a good driver. Don`t know what he did. But he drives good. Better than many cops. ;-)

  • In the US the cops are out of control in the UK there more beter and no more!.and the UK cops are safer not crooked and dont use brutality.!:).

  • LOL its driving on the right side of the road

  • there is a reason why the yanks can have huge tanks with 360 bhp for police cars , they have hardly any corners, and lets be honest they are usually chasing some pissed up red neck in a pick up truck ! i would put money on the fiesta getting away from a dodge charger with 360 odd bhp down a typical british back road !!

  • THEY LOOK LIKE BUMPER CARS

    LOL

  • @AceLockCo - the reason the british police don't normally carry out pit manouvers, hang back & try to carry out a safe persuit, is because of health & safety rules, 1 force doesn't even have a motobike division, we can blame our government, hse & the adoption of the american claim culture for it.

uk area cars are nicknamed panda cars, because back in the day, they were black & white, as far as i'm aware, they don't use fiat panda's, even for community support officers ...

  • @crazyboyxx - Some of them are fat, but many are very fit. Now, as far as the cars go, WRONG. The British Police Car is the Fiat Panda, with the largest engine option it puts out a whopping 100hp. VS The American Police Car currently in my town is the Dodge Charger with a 368hp Hemi V-8.

So I am going to have to call bullshit on that one. Really, if I wanted to hear an asshole talk I could have farted.

  • @AceLockCo the uk police are forced to adhere to strict health & safety rules & the helicopter controls the persuite once on scene.

as far as i'm aware, the uk police don't use the fiat panda as a front line car, the area cars are nicknamed panda cars because they used to be black & white.

being a mopar fan, i've owned quite a few, even cop cars, but none come close to our traffic cars, tuned versions of already high performance spec models, with similar bhp, but better handling & upto 180mph

  • @asp383 - All police are forced to follow strict rules, otherwise they would be outlaws. Considering the civilian version is also called the Panda, and was called that before the police started using them I think you are full of shit. Bottom line is our cars have MUCH more horsepower and what I have stated is fact, unlike the tings you are making up as you go along. Our cops would also kick your cops asses, British cops are a bunch of pussy's and wouldn't last 1 night in the US.

  • @AceLockCo Your average police car in Britain is either a Ford Focus Estate (Station wagon) or a Vauxhall (Opel) Astra diesel. Traffic units tend to use Volvos, BMWs, Mercs, Subarus, Evos, and Ford Focus STs. But I've also seen a few Vauxhall Insignias out there.

What British police refer to as "Panda cars" are the beat patrol cars, (The Focus and Astras) as these are used to respond to area crime, more so than car crime/pursuits.

  • @AceLockCo As for Brit cops being "pussy's" we have a very different crime culture here. In the US you're more likely to be shot at, whereas in Britain you're more likely to get a knife pulled on you.

Both country's police do very good jobs, and deal with the criminals very well. There are of course officers who let the side down by lashing out against criminals, but mostly the police in the US/UK carry out their duties correctly and properly.

There should be a US-UK police exchange scheme!

  • @Someloke8895 I agree

  • No street furniture? HaHAHA!!!!

  • atleast he proved drunk ppl can drive. (better some sober drivers)

  • i live in shoreham!!

  • It is a fucking FORD FIESTA, just about every vehicle on the road is faster then it. I am glad these are not the cops in the USA or we would be fucked. These cops are lame ass fag wimps. Grow some balls!

  • I though he did pretty dam good for bein drunk!!

  • That guy should become driving teacher after that.

  • at 3 minutes 58 i seen this chase i was flying my kite down the park lol

  • @hammer3456 did u have a blue kite i saw that in the upper screen

  • @nobelvictorius nope ive had a lot im sure i had a green and black kite then i was in the middle of the field out of camera site

  • Doing this in an orwellian state such as the UK (especially when it comes to traffic), this guy is my idol

  • 3 points and a fifty pound fine seems in order.

  • the woman doing the commentary is over exaggerating

  • most of the police force are just THUGS in uniform. Iv noticed ppl who cant find a job just joins the police....lol

  • lol gta5

  • bloke was just late for elevenses..... bullocks

  • look how meni cars go thro a red light at 2:20

  • There Saying The Fiesta Is On The Wrong Side Of The Road Hitting 75 The Fucking Police Car Is Doing The Same As The Fiesta :L ..

  • oh my god he ran a red light at a major cross road.....pathetic!

  • no Happy End...... ^^

  • tHE FIESTA IS NOT DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE BRITS ARE!

  • fiesta win

  • what if he had a gun ?

  • Wouldn't it be funny if an airplane landed on them?

  • I Fast Forward This And Saved 5:00 Minutes Of My Life :)

  • he know how to drive!

  • only 65 miles an hour?

  • @EEE89 Hey it's a fiesta :D

  • lol at the commentator "Boxing it in with no chance for escape". No he only had the option of putting it in reverse or use the other side. But NO. Definetly not an option, because she said so!!!

  • Stupid cops! they should hire this guy to manage to runaway in such a junk to do REAL police chase! Put this guy into a porche or any sport car and they had never manane to following it.

  • "The dog unit is not suited to a car chase." No shit Sherlock

  • And due to the way british justice works i bet he just got off with a few years in the prison...

  • What a pussy. If that had been an american criminal dude would be drivin a studebaker and he'd a kicked those limey cops asses all the way to coney island.

  • Why didnt they ram him after he had stopped, instead of just playing follow the leader.

  • What exactly is a dog van? Is this what Americans call a paddy wagon or is this an animal control vehicle? By the way for non-American police haters out there; most US police agencies dont engage in high speed pursuits when the initial basis for the stop is a minor traffic violation.

  • @10inlong Yes they do. An American cop once killed a young child riding his bike while chasing someone for tinted windows.

  • @SpiderRider3 thats what 'most' means; not all, but some would. Did you know the Oklahoma City bomber was stopped for a minor equipment violation? Grow a backbone, dont be such a Lib.

  • GO FIESTA!

  • wow big fail

  • How was that a fail

  • what does the TPAC stand for again?

  • @simstorial Tactical Pursuit and Containment

  • @Justicar1 thanks, i wasnt completley sure

  • at the end they block the front and one side of the vehicle but not the back! the driver can still throw it in reverse and have some more fun; or inadvertently ram forward an kill an officer of he law.

these cops need to come to the California Highway Patrol Academy in Sacramento and learn some serious high speed pursue technique.

also, at the end, it wasn't very exciting. the cops here in America will put their boots in your face and stomp it to the ground & pepper spray you :)

  • he played too long GTA

  • that weird. i thought GB used Kilometers

  • 65 mph is not a car chase, it' s a promenade..

  • the UK is more cautious but the US gets the job done. even if that means pit manuevering a car off a bridge. atleast hes off the road.

  • THAT GUY IS MY HERO.... not.

  • @Kamikuru77 aww is mr internet tough guy upset because the british police stopped a bandit car without shooting it, rolling it, breaking their cars, generally being american meatheads or killing anyone??

  • 65mph.... didn't know a fiesta went that fast. Don't know what the big deal is, everyone drives like that in Chicago.

  • not even that bad. In Dallas, we go around 90

  • brit chase = a total bore and waste of time.

  • theyd all have been dead if hed had a gun with im, idiots, just go out of the car and run to the car, without taking out your gun / safety positions ... , dont bother to block the back of it either, he wont just drive backwards..

  • Its not america, ppl dont ahve guns like was it GTA.

  • @kedde1 all the more reason i need to leave the US. lol just have to bring my pos car w me. 8D

  • @kedde1 Then why in the hell are they reporting the speed in MILES per hour when they're obviously on the METRIC system, therefore they should be reporting KM/H.... And I'm not mistaken :)

  • @AvengedG7x Because the US isnt the only country using MPH?

  • @kedde1 The US is the only country I personally know of not using the METRIC system. I'm not sure about mexico, but I know Canada even uses metric (KM/H). So tell me kedde1, who else uses Miles as a measure of distance traveled?

  • @AvengedG7x The UK where this is from

  • @AngeloFeiertag that is England, In England the cops cannot have guns, they only carry pen and paper to ask you for your name and address because since they dont have IDs, they will take your word.

  • @H4554nX0rZ pancaked to a wall? that is not police tactics, they want to make an arrest not kill the guy. sniping is a nono unless you can make a clean shot and release the hostages, which there was none in this case.

  • gta in real life xD

  • This is a good video.

lol at the title... it's the internet afterall.

  • Just shoot him, jeez.

  • damn that guys pretty good, " hes driving 60 miles an hour... ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD OMG!!" shut up lady its not a big deal

  • rodl we get it he went through red lights...

  • Someone driving like that you make the choice in the first minute either take his ass out or let him go, good work putting all those civilians in danger for that long... basic training-fail here guys...

  • Id agree with Tyro, the amount of red lights & busy streets. They should have backed off and let the chopper guide them in. If someone was killed crossing the road it would be the officers fault. But you can't compare UK & USA in terms of policing because the police in the UK don't have to worry, so much, about possession of a deadly weapon.

  • @stepheneveriss Thats a good point...

  • They should go back to the old black/dark blue jacket and over coat. They look so much smarter :)

  • What a chase

  • this is not a fail at all they caught the guy didnt they? and the reason they took so long was because there better than american cops and dont just ram a car in the middle of heavy traffic this is a job well done

  • @yfharrington- see my first comment dont let something as dumb as anti-americanism cloud your judgment, just making yourself look... "special"...

  • Well british police are shit

  • good driver

  • Well i'd like to see those cops operating in the US! good luck to them!

  • @pierre0202 what you on about they did a perfect job there driving was skilled and done the job safe american cops are all over the show

  • @pierre0202 to be honest if you do this now in a city you will have a scooby up ur arse in no time or a bmw aither way its gunna be a fast car or their volvo estate with top speed of 160 mph

  • ok we get it red lights....

  • lol, brit commentators for chases are so much less dramatic than their American counterparts.

  • the police didn't fail

  • Another bad guy nailed by the good guys! Thanks for posting.

  • haha what a "Surprise attack" xD

  • its in britan HE IS DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD

  • lies. hes driving on the RIGHT side of the road.

  • no hes driving on the wrong side

  • no you didn't get the joke

  • right side not left

  • England drives on the Left. Which means being on the right side is illegal,

  • lol if you are responding to Secretname25's post, you clearly didn't get the joke. xDDDD

    failllll

  • i did, but it sucks so much, i wanted to be matter of fact to see what reactions people would give

  • yep

  • Hahahaha.... At first I just thought you were an idiot, then I got it :D Dyslexia win!

  • i love the shock tactics of this, when anyone who's played GTA just finds this boring, lol.

  • met the guy behind the camera of the chopper this week. good work!!!

  • This guy's got balls!!!!

  • My old 950cc Fiesta wouldn't quite keep up that kinda pace!

  • The driver of the Fiesta had been drinking but was not drunk.

I was the guy in the orange T shirt having just been picked up from a week in hospital by the Volvo (work colleagues) to be taken home. Having been knocked off a police bike by 'white van man' on his mobile 'phone and my arm broken. The 'Follow' kicked off within 2-3 minutes of leaving the hospital.Timing eh?

  • the reckless silver fiesta lol

  • i was yelling CREATE A ROAD BLOCK U!

  • lol T menuever, in america its called PIT

  • You are correct, it was actually a PIT. TPAC (tactical pursuit and containment) involves boxing in the car without actually hitting it. PIT (Precision Intervention Technique) demonstrated here involves ramming the car in such a way that it spins out in a hopefully semi-controlled way.

  • the police car is a van wtf lmao

  • Police cars can be vans, pick up trucks or SUVs. In my city we have a police motor home.

  • how come the title is "Sussex police - fail to stop incident"?

  • Because failing to stop when requested to do so by police is the original offense.

  • oh yeah!

    thanks

  • It's "fail to stop" incident, pointing to the fact that the reckless driver failed to stop.

  • Yeah I thought it meant the police failed to stop the "incident" aka, the chase. I wanna see the suspects getaway sometimes! Of course they'd never release any of that footage, and anyone but the cops making footage of getting away would be illegal.

giving props to the driver, taking on half the department like that

  • Idiot in a Fiesta

  • I'm shocked by this video!

Never knew a Fiesta could make it to 65mph

  • i thought sussex was borin.... lol

  • Far from it especcially Brighton, Worthing and Crawley.

  • i like it when she keep saying the wrong side of the road...

and in the end the cops go to the right window of the car,and i'm like hey he is on the other side...wait... :-)

  • Wake up - in England we drive on the left, so driver is on the right.........

  • street furniture???

  • LOL 'the dog unit is not suited for the car chase' well duh, LOL

  • if there wasnt a helicopter that car would deffo get a way . fiesta xr2i are fast cars and small from there day and good at handling soo thats wht i think any way

  • I think they did pretty good. I also agree it was not a good idea to knock him off in those small street because people could have been killed. I've seen in America police cars knocking off other cars without thinking that on the pavement there may be someone. I saw few where they knocked a guy into someone's backyard. I think the Brits use more common sense.

  • @dakidakov,

true, but in america, most car chases involve much more erratic driving and most likely the driver has a gun, so its seen safer to end the the chase as soon as possible before someone gets killed. in britan most chases are joyrides or 80 year old doris has a broken speedo and hearing aid so doesnt notice the police, so is seen safer to not push the driver to far and wait untill they give up or go down a dead end. either way both are best for their situation

  • @cragster101 I agree with you and maybe it also involves the fact that USA is mainly built around freeways and so on... Europe still relies on small country roads on which cities have been developed... Also in Europe the police use Diesels and mainly pretty sluggish cars for patrol... Only when it gets hot they send 2 evo X.... At least in my country. In America all common patrol cars are V8 crown Victorias and Chargers capable of outrunning pretty much anything.

  • @dakidakov thank you for the generalization

  • for some reason ppl say a lot about uk police....

ahhhhhhhh, really??? how can you have a car that is not appropriate to take down a small car like that. And why does it take so long for back up to arrive?

  • FIESTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    <3

  • Fiesta in "High speed chase" thats a paradox in itself!!

  • I concur

  • Any takedown which is tame and safe may not be spectacular but it certainly is a success any time

  • police fail agian

  • what a dum ass ,never gunna get away in a festa

  • A fiesta in a high speed chase.. .am i the only one who sees humor in this lol

  • in italy police use the lamborghini gallardo lol

  • good driving actually... should go on a track instead of speeding through the city...

  • Hes been playing need for speed...

This doest state that the police fail in the title by the way. Its the infraction the driver has recieved, along with speeding i assume.

  • how is taht failing this is stupid wasted so much of my time!

  • Its said Fail to stop Incident, meaning the driver failed to stop

You just read it wrong :P

  • hahaha

  • this is awsum

  • helluva driver

  • ii saw some European cop cars on top gear.....they are kinda pathetic

  • not all m8 in the UK they now got subaru imprezas, Mitsubishi evo's, & BMW's. i wouldn't want to be chased by them

  • oh...LOL

  • lol ..you do know europe is a shit load of different countries right? each with very different police forces and cars?

  • the Fiesta wasnt fast enoug :D

  • A T - pac isnt spinning the car from the back??

  • the silver car is like the most unlucky man in the world... only hitting red lights
