You are right credit needs to be given, but only a very small amount. Women's tennis players make the same amount of money, but play less sets, while hitting less balls per set, they do not even create the same amount of revenue for the tennis tournament themselves.

Women do not compete as hard as the men. The problem is..they do not play as many points as the men do in a calendar year. Also, the depth of the women's game is just not at the same level.

Seriously, these comments are ridiculous. Do you guys really expect a woman to be able to physically compete with the best male players or even juniors in the world? Women do not have the athletic potential that men can have, OF COURSE there is going to be a huge gap between the ATP and WTA. But the women try just as hard to compete as the men do! hitting a tennis ball is hitting a tennis ball... College players play match after match and are just as match tough.. I'm sure there is a reason that the video is edited to only points that she won. I've practiced with top womens players and top college players.. There is no comparison. Why do you think all these women are coming out of retirement and winning tournaments? Because the women's tour has never been this weak before. Steffi Graf in her prime would stomp serena right now.

Jelena Jankovic was a former number 1 in the world, so I think she can hold her own against a collegiate player, even the highly ranked ones. She has a better backhand than him and she's a smarter player. It was not an accident. That goes for most of the top ranked WTA players.

Klahn was just coming off his freshman year in college, he's not some seasoned guy with a high ATP rank, if he has one, it's probably extremely low. He does not look like he was taking it easy, he probably was just nervous playing Jelena and didn't play well because of it.
