white is the lowest like in karate you get a white with the outfit. Different systems have different colors levels but white/yellow is first initiate level in.
you're not absolutely right about that. the lowest rank in abadá is "crua", or as stated above: "natural". white is the highest, which happens to be in this roda too. Mestre Camisa, the one on the Gunga Berimbau, has got the white chorda.
I think the guy playing with the Crua in deed simply didn't have his chorda with him. otherwise he wouldn't have been in that game (not to mention that he's not just a beginner, from what I can see here...)
@TooOverrated afaik, the white chord is one and only and it belongs to camisa, so this guy probably just took "natural colored" chord to fix his pants on him XD
wats the name of the song from the begining of the video? Im looking for the title of it or a link.:)

I think the guy at 1:48 is arroz doce from an Abada in Portugal... I remember it because it's an amusing name -- rice pudding.

The one at 1:48 with the white cord is Mestre Glauber of Au Capoeira, I believe. Under their cord system white is Mestre.

WAIT! 1:48 is that a natural chord or is that a white? I am confused!

I believe he was a visitor who didn't have his cord so he had to borrow one. Not sure who he is though.
