  • Great video and love the music. Nothing like show tunes to get you into a fighting mood.

  • are u kidding me youtube thinks this is maroon 5 !!!(talking about first song im not a retard)

  • are u kidding me youtube thinks this is maroon 5 !!!

  • play mute to be cool.

  • worst music ever.

  • he looks like a very technical instructor. its nice to see some martial arts instructors take the time to do hands on teaching.

  • Seriously...Can't watch the entire video case da music sux

  • Just turn the music off, the master talking in Korean isnt any help to may anyway ^^

  • @suhperman but it is what it is ( sorry i ran out of space on the first one) My point on the armbar drill is that i get that for those you just need to switch and get the feel but the detail of him just barely putting hes heels over his back and not the whole calf area to prevent the opponent from posturing up, and again i understand that its just a drill but you HAVE to do it correct even when drilling it, the way he did it is similar to a very new whitebelt who dousnt know the mechanics of it.

  • @suhperman yeah i understand what you mean, but let me assure you good sir that my two BJJ schools are legitimate lol my first Teacher was J.W. Wright who is a Royler Gracie and David Adiv blackbelt who just won his division in the Pan American games 2010 and is a first degree Sambo blackbelt from way back , my new school is the University of Jiu Jitsu where my new masters are multi time absolute and heavyweight AND Abu Dhabi champions Xande and Saulo Ribeiro. Sureyou might think im making it up

  • Oh my god what a pathetic armbar from guard lol, with all due respect after about six months of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a decent school that guys' ground grappling game would be at least twice as good, and hes actually teaching that. Its ridiculous ...

  • @DimaAxil Wow...Those are arm bar practices where you just go through the motion of switching sides, not to full tap the guy. It strengthens your stomach and gets you ready to switch if someone is defending the armbar. With all due respect, you should find another school if you haven't done these in practice, that is if you really roll.

  • This song makes me wanna FIIIIGGGHHT!!!!

  • ABBA?!?!? LMFAO!!!

  • he can strike well with arms AND legs, and fight on the ground displaying expertise. true martial artist.

i'd learn from this korean guy than the white guy down the street

  • jiu jitsu includes striking.. this guy has skills.. his ground skills and throws are excellent.

  • that sequence at 2:48 is pretty good. high and low, both sides of body hands and feet.

punches set up the kicks well too.

  • Could do w/o the music, I want to hear the Grand Master.

  • very good video : )

  • lol Abba! with the sound off it's good!

  • sory i dont like music but i love the vid.

  • who sings that song that starts @2:17?

  • maroon5

  • Wow. The take downs are terrible, the arm bar was terrible, I'm very surprised to see this. I have a brown belt in Kuk Sul Won and a black belt in Kuk Sul Do under Grandmaster Yang. I've been training BJJ for a little over 4 years. I hate to bash, but I have no choice. The technique is simply not there. Very sad.

  • instructorjv.....what you see in this clip is a drill on ground mobility, not on actually applying the armbar. Greetings from Oz.

  • I understand the drill concept. It still appears that the only person doing the drill correctly was the instructor. The rest are black belts? Also, the take down is almost useless. Your back is totally open. If this style is for martial ART purpose only, great I'll buy that. Useful if going up against some one who knows to keep is hands up while punching, I think not. Again maybe I'm being unfair because these are drills. Just food for thought. Have a good day.

  • This isnt supposed to be like BJJ its a korean style of JJJ

  • why dont you put you're own videos up then instructorjv since you seem to know everything i have been training gongkwon with someone who does kuk sul won and that is not effective i also have done bjj you should come over and try

gongkwon is 1 of the most effective out there

  • Istructorjv- what kind of takedowns do you use? To many Koreon instructors are so much into high kicks, and I feel that is just putting that leg or arm closer and faster to me so they get taken down, or thrown. I have been wrestling for over 34 years, im a black blelt in judo, and im national champion in freestyle and Greco. I am also 3rd dan in Ju-jitsu now im studying hopkido. What I see from Master Kang Jun is pure amazing stuff. Thanks

  • I also wanted to know what Yang my Grandmaster Ahn Hyun Whan

4 time World Heavyweight Thai Boxing Champion

    7th dan Hopkido

7th dan Jyck Tuki/ Thai Boxing

He told us teach truth so we teach what works. I teach what I know. Thanks

  • Just the fact that you asked that question shows that you don't know much about either.

  • Yusul- The equivalent of Jujutsu in Korean. Japan isn't the only country that emphasized grappling.

  • yes its true, dont bounce its not good for your musscles, just put it at a level where you feel the strech, then hold still. If your doing a long warmup i usually do that, then after about 20 seconds i can go a little bit farther, but dont pull too hard either.

  • it may be the scientific approach to not bounch. and yes i agree, but you must look at the results. they are ALL flexible. it does work.

  • I tried all that scientific stretching stuff it didnt really work for me this korean style has increased my flexibility 10 times what the other did

  • I concur

  • Really Awesome!!!

    When This Master In Italy?

  • WOW! Koreans actually doing low leg kicks!

Saludos.

  • Un Gran Maestro
