I was up 11-4 on this guy with my colombian team and at the end of the match i had to go downstairs and i came back up and saw that i was disconnected...to make it even worse i played a pace whore team next and lost 3-2 after hitting the post on shots and chips when the keeper came out 14-15 times. guys if u can get to ur modem settings put it into modem mode(switches off wireless + only port 1 works on the modem) this fixed my problem only thing is i cant use my wireless divices when im playing fifa + only 1 port works .........i bought a cheap modem that dose not have wireless (standard modem ) and all is good ..... it seems fifa's server dose not work well with all modems especially super hubs and wireless routers.

It has started happening to me I win and getting ready to go back to the main menu and the all of a sudden ea sever times out so that means i didnt get any coins and got an it counts as a lost and my players run out of contracts so i cant play any more because of that

@hubbard103 I gave up on Fifa after that, but I do know (I at least think so) that the problem is on how the internet/router is connected to your PS3/Xbox, and this problem occurs when you have "restricted" internet access. And for me, it would require to change my router and possibly even the internet provider so I never did it.

But there are ways how to "open" your internet connection with your console, but you would just have to look into it yourself.

@RiksK15 i solved my problem by linking my ps3 up to a wired connection, it appears my wireless has a restricted nat type all of a sudden, dont really use my internet for anything other than my laptop and i never use ps3 and wireless at same time so ill just keep swapping around, have you tried wired?
