I have a GHD and got it for my birthday 2 days ago. It is the new version of the GHD, the GHD Scarlet edition that Katy Perry markets over here in Australia and some other countries as well. This straightener is alot better than the older models, the black ones that take about 4-5 minutes to heat up. How do you keep it super straight throughout the day? Mine starts to bend upwards, kind of like your before you flat ironed. Still straight though. I love it and I use the KQC because of this tutorial. And my hair has layers like yours because I cut it using the haircut video.

I have a black CHI and it works well but my hair is virgin and by the middle of the day my layers curve in and get curly I HATE IT i always have to re straighten it in the middle of the day for work at night and i use heat protectors on my hair to! Only when it's dirty does my hair stay perfect but then it feels heavy and oily i hate it but i hope if i buy this new flat iron it works bc in my situation having virgin natural ringlets its hard to stay straight by the end of the day lol
