Great video Steve! As usual, inspiration to get radioactive outdoors. What did you do for food by the way? MRE/freezedry or did you cook from scratch? Also, I didn't catch how long you were gone. Looks like an amazing trip. Hope to do something similar someday. Tough to get that kind of scenery in Florida.
Yes. GPS was carried but the rock karins (stacked rocks) were the main markers which lead us back to the trailhead. If not for the karins it would be easy to get lost amongst the rock maze w/o a GPS. And water is very scarce!

As far as I understood, it's a kind of "civilized" area for hiking? Kind of park that have controlling authorities, rescue services stuff like that?

Amazing stuff!... nothing like that here, no mountains, no snow, no coyote's, no mesa,but we do have some desert in the middle of vk6.
