This summer I Am most likely going to supercharge my 300M will upload video after I am done. Going to use kit designed for dodge challenger 3.5, going to attempt hiding the blower in a small hood scoop.
Not supercharged to run 15.80 / 16.80 (mentioned at around 0:10)
I'm not doubting whether you beat the 300m or not, but with a car so cramped on the inside the battery has to be accessed via wheel well.... lets just say thats not supercharged... regardless what the driver told ya
Maybe he means one of those things you drop in the intake that's made to speed up the air flow..If there were an supercharger for an 300m I would have one !!!!
300m engine compartments are fuckin cramped. There isn't alot of space to put a supercharger. If this was rearmount turbo or something, ok, but that time was horrible. And on top of that, I don't think the 300m engine can take force induction well.
There is no way that M was supercharged, the vid starts just ahead of the 1/8th mile area and it is still 12 seconds until they reach the finish line.
z34 lumina -210hp stock 3.4L v6 0-60 estimated 7.5 seconds. 1999-01 300m 253 hp-02-04 255hp 3.5L HO v6 estimated 0-60 7.9 seconds stock. 300m curb wt-(estimated) 3581 lbs. Lumina curb wt-3496 lb. close comparison but a lumina racing a 300m with the driver in autostick, would lead to that lumina being spanked harcore. I own a 300m, and have raced my friends 93 lumina z34. Needless to say he pulled away the first 2 seconds and then I blew past him and he never caught up.
Well, don't be so sure. There were superchargers made, or compiled, for the Plymouth/Chrysler Prowlers that use the same 3.5l v6 and tranny. Don't know if they are still beaing sold, but they are out there.
Nope. No. No Way. Not Supercharged. A Supercharged 300M (if anyone ever makes such a thing) would decimate about anything on the road. This guy was racing with the weight of his foot.

What am I not to be so sure about? That 300M, without a shadow of a doubt wasn't supercharged. Regardless, a 300M will beat a Lumina standing still. Paxton made a Supercharger kit for the Prowlers, which shared the same 3.5HO from the 300M. The only chance of a 300M being supercharged, would be using the Paxton Supercharger designed for a prowler.
True, this 300m is not supercharged, i was contesting the idea that it could not be done or that the supercharger was not available ever. I would love to see one though, that would be tight.
well they say anythings possible with enough cashflow. Oddly enough, it jsut seems a Supercharged 300M doesn't exist (atleast nowhere on the net or in magazines). I've got two, and god forbid one dies on me, I wouldn't mind trying forced induction a try on her. The biggest issue is there is not room for anything in the 300M's engine bay, over or under, or side to side. Even the Paxton kit for the prowlers wasnt your traditional "blower" supercharger, it was rather a belt-driven turbo.
i think i have seen or heard of one before, but i can't remember where. I have a red 300m and my brother just bought a silver one. These cars are cool, I have a k and n intake and I love it.
its a 300m they come stock v6 3.5 no hemi..those are the new 300c with v8 hemi..get your shit right...and still i doubt the 300m was supercharged..if it was then there would not even have been a race

there is superchargers for them, not turbos tho, just like my car, i cant find a turbo for a 3800 series 2 v6 but i've found like 5 different superchargers i'm choosin for
@killtoskate says who?? people can make things you know..Its not all about ordering car parts online and putting them on. A little ingenuity is always good. So you're wrong. Sorry
Hey bud, I have a 300m, and you need to have had a LOT done to that lumina to take a 300m, and if it was supercharged, it would have walked your lumina!
no ur thinkin 300c its the chrysler version of a chargers exact same but more luxury, but probably not my 3800 series 2 v6 in my monte carlo gives the v8 chargers and turbo charged mustangs a run for there money, and blows a v6 charger or mustang away...

very true. chrysler studies show that all the EG engines bottom ends shatter under any forced induction.
