@uvmplayer09 this is where you are wrong. if you knew about baseball, every player on that list has at least one gold glove. longoria has two youkilis has one wright has two zimmerman has one and polanco has one. i agree that rolen is one of the best defensive third baseman in the game, as he has won six gold gloves, but i'm speaking in the viewpoint of 2011. rolen and chavez just can't make it up there anymore. their offense has depleted too much.

As a Sox fan, how can you put Lowell up there? Is he one of the top 10 hitting third basemen? Maybe. However, ever since his hip injury, he's been an awful baserunner and fielder. The only use he has is as a DH.
