You probably never played Marble Blast before. You collect Time Travels (those sand glasses) which stop your time, thus you get a lower in-game time. Those are on purpose.

the reason time stops is because he gets a time modifier which stops time for a certain amount of time like up to 10 seconds to 1.5 seconds learn your marble blast.
