I sure wished the song could've gone longer. I'm only seventeen but I appreciate soft music especially with piano or violins. It's a pity that seagull orchestra only had 4 songs :(
I have this really irrational desire to fly. When I closed my eyes with this playing, I actually started crying because it felt so much like it. That sounds really stupid, but nevertheless, I've found a new Adam project to explore.

@Rokko2009 Ahaha how ignorant. Owl City is actually my least favorite of his stuff. I prefer these gorgeous timeless instrumentals. Too bad you can only see greatness in pop music. Saying any of Adam Youngs stuff sucks is just terrible.
Well, there's a few reasons that could be true for you.
1.) Music in your mind is related to lyrics
2.) You like HopHop R&B Pop styled music, in that case, stay with Owl City
3.)You're young.
It's not a bad thing to not like a song, or a band, but at least appreciate musical values. Like these chord progressions, and the ambience of the crickets. For example. when I listen to modern rap, I can't help but laugh at the stupidity of it, but the beats and drums are sometimes okay.
@effrumman I'm barely a teenager and this music is pure beauty to me. I love Owl City but there's just something so calming, refreshing, and uplifting about Seagull Orchestra that Adam couldn't replicate under Owl CIty.

It's a stereotype, really. The majority of younger folk like to listen to songs they can learn the words to that has a catchy beat they can show their friends. Not many appreciate the actual musical value, unless, of course, they love actual musical theory in which case they're probably better at appreciating it than I am.
But, I'm not saying all adults or all kids (not many adults will like this kind of music, either) don't like this. It's just natural to learn to appreciate things.

This is literally the most beautiful minute and a half I've ever heard. With the crickets in the background it kind reminds of summer nights where my family and I just sit outside until it gets dark. So peaceful I can't even explain it.
