Damn it....... 53 inches 45 pounds. I was told they weren't in sea on and that itvwas 6 inches short of the record in Cabo. I have no idea if it was thats just what I was told.

IGFA 30# test women = 73# 11 oz.

must credit capt billy and his mate joe on the linda d out of key west for the 40 lb dolphin. a 7 foot sail, 3.5foot barracuda and 2 fat tuna on the same trip. 27 fish between 5 guys in 6 hrs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

89Lls although that was at the scale at 4pm on a fish caught at 7am. the mate spotted the huge shadow and handed me a pole and I stuck a live mackerel on and flipped it on the other side of a floating

piece of wood and bam. Blisters a balled up reel, three strong runs and a final deep dive.

I am 6'2" and the mate was 5'10" and it was longer than him and took two big boys to boat. caught 3 striped and a huge yellow fin the same day. I will post those up soon.

nice fish...Caught a few like this off Matanallas corner in the Bahamas back in '96...even one that weighed 69 lbs on 30 lb test line while casting for chicken dolphins...never will forget that fight!

I really could care less what you say or think. There are lots of dorado in the gulf stream between Florida and the Bahamas that weigh over 80 lbs. The largest I have personally caught weighed 69 lbs. I have seen many that were larger. Much larger.
