Tiffany is a hero, because she tries to put love and kindness in everything she does. In everyone of her songs and videos and on her sites, she's constantly giving and trying to contribute love and dignity. Tiffany is a giver in life, many people have the misfortune of being takers and they bring their misfortune on others in doing so. Here's an answer. If you were in Iraq with your brother or sister, or mom or dad, or wife or girlfriend and a haji jumped out shooting at you would you kill him if it ment saving someones life that you love. Our soldier train with these other guys that they didn't know and never knew before. By the end of training they are like brothers. You do everything together, eat, live, suffer, together. When somebody threatens someone you know and would defend with your life you don't let them be killed.

We follow rules of engagement. we fire when fired upon. We do not walk around firing indiscriminately at anybody that moves. You obviously know nothing about what happens and instead form your opinions from other ill-informed sources. Do some research on both the troops and the enemy we fight, and maybe you will know what you talk about.

This is fantastic! My father is a WWII vet. He received a purple heart and two Bronze Stars. Only recently were these heroes recognized and honored. Tom Brokaw dedicated a book to his generation. Some Vietnam vets were spit on when they returned which was despicible behavior at best. For you to write such an incredible tribute at the age of 12 to those persons who serve their country is remarkable. You are a very special person not only loaded with talent but also with heart.

Thank you for this wonderful song. It means more to me than some of those ribbons I got in Vietnam. I wish this song was out in the 1970's when we were coming back from Vietnam. No one in the US ever said Thanks back then. Only the Vietnamese said thanks as we were leaving.
In my own experiences, a hero in the dark is someone who decides to save a neighbor's life when it would be a lot more convenient not to. A lot of urban violence would be avoided if this rare breed of animal wasn't dying off.

On the road to N.Tx. to see my daughter when she was a little girl. A van had just been hit by a small truck & had turned over and was on fire. It was dark and I had on flip flops but I still ran over and side by side with a cowboy that I didn't know we went in that back door of that flaming van and pulled the lady that was inside out to safety before it blew up. Then we freed the man in the truck but he died. Hero, no. I didn't know CPR and the man died. The roses by the road tell me no.

There were hundreds of them, a man came along and said, " what's the point of doing this? You can't save them all," the little girl replied, no but to that ONE that was saved it makes a difference!

god that peace landings shot is quite odd to look at, 100,000 casualties from those landings, many of those men in that boat died that day on that beach.

first of all, i love this song and video, u r amazing! second, i am a veteran too and even tho i don't agree with some things, i am proud of my what i did and especially proud of everyone i served with. i lost a lot of rly good friends and they are true hero's. they are wut this country is all about, giving everything to protect the people you love and giving them a chance to live their lives without the problems and cares that we have! i'm proud of my service and the men i faught beside!

Remember the heros who work for peace and justice as well. True heros are those men and women who think outside thebox and advocate for the poor,the sick,the forgotten and the inprisoned. I'm a veteran myself but I regret my service and I hope we will reconsider what a hero is.

Wow it really is true heroes come from the strangest places... I hope you all can see your heroes, I hope you can all look them in the eyes... Mine changed my world every day, making each one of them special... god that peace landings shot is quite odd to look at, 100,000 casualties from those landings, many of those men in that boat died that day on that beach.
I almost feel uncomfortable looking at it, like i havn't paid them enough respect by looking. Like they deserve more, which they do.
