You people need to understand that this is a COVER song, not the original. No shit, its not gonna sound like the original of course! Its a cover song, therefore her own version of the song. And besides, I bet a whole lot of you saying that she sucked can't do a better job. Playing the guitar takes skill, its not easy, so just stfu and quit judging.

I never cared for the original and thought Amy Ray brought emotion to the song that Mark Knopfler never could. You have a nice voice and left-handed guitar players are always cool, but the emotion is missing. Still a good job.

Her version is a pretty faithful cover of the Indigo Girls' version; sounds like you're looking for a Dire Straits' style version. I see nothing wrong with the guitar playing. She needs no lessons.
