It certainly was, to a very big last fence! Taking out that stride was the difference between 1st and 2nd (Mr. Amontillano having already gone clear in a fast time). "Apey" was both brave and careful, and during all classes at POYS in 2003 (and again in 2004) she never had a fence. This was the first major victory for her and her new rider.
