I haven't yet watched ur vid (I'm about to), but I'm dreading it, I know how most of the GLBT community looks down on "fats and fems" (when in reality ALOT of those guys who say they hate femmes are some of the biggest queens out there). I'm 5'9", 198 lbs, so, obviously, FAT by "gay standards". I've struggled with my weight my whole life, and I HATE that I am judged by gay men because of it. I WISH I could be looked at for who I am on the inside ..... but most gay men aren't capable of that.

I personally am not attracted to fems and most of my nicest friends growing up have been effeminate guys. it's just a preference, I myself am a masculine gay guy. No fats or fems, is... i guess a preference, a rude way to put it, but a preference non the less. But saying, no blacks or asians, no latinos, ONLY white boys... that's just disguising prejudice and/or racism as a preference. When you won't even talk to someone online or hook up or whatever SOLEY based on someone's race or ethnicity, it goes way beyond a "preference."

The same is true within the straight dating sites. You like what you like. If you don't fall within the parameters they list, like he said, keep it moving! And typing No Fats or Fems anywhere is just disrespectful, and a mark of a someone lacking sophistication. It may also be an indicator that individual is not going to meet your own standards either. A person cannot help who they are attracted to. What I hate is that if they establish those standards because it's fashionable or because "all my friends put that in their ads". Some people will not date a guy they are attracted to becuz they are afraid that their friends would make fun of them becuz their new bf is "fat" or "fem" or "too old" or "too young". If people are following their hearts, then it's gotta be ok. Just try not to hurt others.
