Anyone who has listened to the original song knows that Mai Yamane, the girl who provides the vocals, exaggerates her "u"s just like the girl in this video. In fact, her accent is pretty good as far as I can tell, and I keep comparing it to the original. So if you're going to bitch about her pronunciation, make sure you know what you're talking about.

I think that isn't a Cminor, testing it out for yourself and seeing of course, is the best way. Don't forget about the Capo

This is a great cover :D If your strumming pattern was a little slower and a little different and not so statistically rhythmic I think it would make it THAT much better.

the lyrics are `the real folk blues, hontou no` actually. and i am japanese, born and raised in america, double schooled, so my english and japanese are (i daresay) native level. the english phrase with the japanese accent just for personal taste. (singing it all in the same tongue.)

I havn't studies japanese yet, I'm still learning tegalog. Sorry for the confusion, I was getting the translation from the sub titles... guess they really arent that accurate. Mrs. Kanno has been known to put English in many of her songs before so I didn't question the phrase. I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong and a touch of humility can go a long way. So, I'm sorry. I often questioned the origional "H" In what I thought was "want" It makes a lot more sence
