Personally, I like the new look. You all are saying that it used to have color and is boring now, but before it was just..... blander than bland. Of course, I love plenty of other designs, but I don't see why this one is worth so much complaint.

Don't worry about the people hatin on this video or your work. They are jealous that they don't have the skilled trades that it takes to do this work themselves. Hell, they prolly hire someone to paint because they can't even pry the lid of the can. Nice job. I've been watching vids all day cause I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel myself.

Wow you are taking a beating on this video...... I will say the new design is a little cold and plain but it does beat the old stuff and as long as the customer got what they wanted...... no harm no foul...

@akijator Indeed I'm taking a beating. It's not my kitchen. I'll tell you what's really interesting. A very high percentage of those that have gritched surprisingly don't have any videos they've taped at their channels. What's that tell you?

I like it, very well done, I wuld chouse a brown/dark/caoba color for kitchen, with Stainless steal fridge /stove but thas just my opinion.

Boy there is a lot of personal taste going in to the decisions because we all filter, have triggers, opinions. Super video. Just saw a show on a $30,000 master bathroom remodel and I thought the old one looked so much better.

i think the design is okay it's just that the lights installed aren't enough.the area is still dark.it needs a little job on color.

I'll have to agree with some of the other comments,and I know, I know ...Personal taste....my first impression: the tile on the floor looks wrong for a kitchen, the color AND the size, too small, the counter tops aren't a good match for the cabinets

Great video Sir! With so many layers of light installed, it would have been better with more attention paid on the natural light and how to make optimum utilization of it. Nevertheless, a beautiful presentation and an awesome job!

I HATE everything about this remodel. It looked better before with the cool 1950's counter...now it looks cheap like a condo redo. The halogen lights are so yesterday! and I hate the wood cabinets! Can't stand the rope lighting either.

You could contribute so much more to the YouTube ecosystem with positive information about what you know about the topic. When will you tape these videos for us?

I have a ceiling fan in my kitchen and boy is it heaven sent in the summer after all that cooking it keeps the kitchen cool and my electric bill down.

The kitchen is the hardest working room in the house, so I believe its essential that the right materials are selected so as to create a kitchen that not only looks good but is practical too

The tray ceiling with the rope lighting is a nice effect. But the Kitchen in my opinion looks cold and dull. The flooring does not go with the kitchen's modern design ( should have been set in a diamond pattern) and white walls need to be dressed up with some kind of a back splash. Also, in my opinion, white appliances, faucet and fan are outdated. Stainless steel appliances and brushed nickle or rubbed bronze are in even in modern kitchens... the job was good, but the design/feel was lacking...

I didn't do the job in this video. It was a friend's kitchen. He was kind enough to let us follow his project. Thanks for your comment. My guess is that my friend would have all sorts of negative comments about the kitchen in your flipped home. That's why you see enormous variety in clothes, cars, and any consumer product. Just because you like something, doesn't mean others will agree with you.

I was just stating my personal taste. I posted that the job was good at the bottom... It has nothing to do with the craftsmanship of the work...just did not like the design. I hope everyone looks at my video and leaves an honest comment as I want to know what people think...honestly good or bad feedback is a great thing ( at least for me )

This is an amazing transformation. The corner sink is a great idea and the kitchen looks so much bigger and lighter than before. Great job!

Well, the Victorian one we have is splendid. With the 9-foot ceilings, you really don't see it. On summer days, it is really pleasant as it keeps you cool as you work.
