I don't get how this is a nine hour flight, because I flew from London to Dubai and thats a total of 8 hours, and Zurich is in Switzerland with is halfway between London and Dubai Shouldn't it be a shorter flight.

@fs10pilot Guys, all Airbus planes if you fly them on real if you climb up to 410FLT it will expload, because its maximum safe operated cruising alt is 390FLT.

I thought it's only the A320 series that goes up to 390FLT, A340 can go up to about 430FLT, I been on an A340 recently and we were cruising at 400FLT later in the flight because of turbulence.

@Michal2989 In such routes, you cant have a certain Flight level, some times its 370, some times its 360, sometimes its 390. It depends of you payload, and the take off weight. If you taking off with heavy weight then you start in the begining with a low flight level, then you start climbing up as ur fuel weight gets lighter, as a cause of the buring.

It's not that hard when you simply have autopilot doing the work for you for the most of the time ;).

I did not have to be by the computer for 9 hours. I simply returned with even intervals to capture footage ;).

When i cruise from dubai to heathrow my flightplan can take me up to 40,000 feet on the final cruise N0470F400 - the F400 at the end means flight level 400 (40,000 feet)

I was by the computer during take off and landing.

During the flight I had autopilot on, I checked back every hour and recorded abit :)

But :

-DXB-ZRH has never taken us 9hrs (its 5 to six hrs)

-Rwy 32 in LSZH is NOT an active Landing Runway, the only south aprroach is possible on 34.
